Fun night out

Great spot for a casual beer. It is much larger inside than it looks from the outside, so it's nice for groups. The night we were there they had a live band which made for a nice evening. Our family of four had a great time at Emmett O'Lunney's. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. We had 3 different wait staff help us, and things got continuously worse as the night went on. The food was fantastic, as was the location. Would visit again!

We went here after a show. They were very attentive. Good music. Our kids loved it. The manager was very nice. Food was good and came out quickly

My family had a great experience at Emmett O'Lunney's and we have already made plans to go back the next time we are in the city! The food was excellent and the service was even better. Our waitress, Carola, was so kind and went out of her way to make sure we were happy and had a good experience! The... More

the atmosphere was amazing, but the live music for the weekends, Matt and Chuck, they are just great. Myself and my friends met up with them after their show, and had some drinks, had a fantastic time!

The food was disappointing I wouldn't recommend this place. Might be ok for a drink but wouldn't say the food was worth the money.

My wife and I went in for dinner and a couple of drinks. The place has a nice atmosphere with lots of TVs. We ordered two beers. My wife's beer had this nauseating sour smell too it. Had I not ordered a beer, I would have never guessed that's what was in the glass. My beer, a completely different brand,... More

We just got back from our stay at citizenM Times Square, which is two doors up from this wonderful place and gives credit to both establishments by sheer location. The first evening we were in New York we popped in here for drinks - whilst at the bar we learnt that food was served til 2am and although I wasn't... More

This restaurant is next door to our hotel The Amstrdam Court. On our first visit we were that impressed that we didn't bother experimenting with any other restaurant. The menu has a good selection as does the bar for drafts. We were lucky with our waitress - Rebecca who made us very welcome from the start, which helped our descision... More

My husband, daughter, and I had planned to stop in at "Ellen's Stardust Diner" before seeing "Wicked". Because the line there was so long, we decided to head over to find somewhere closer to the theater. We are SO glad we did! Who would have thought a simple Chicken Parmesan Hero (daughter), Fish and Chips (hubby), and Flank Steak Salad... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
