Good food, good drinks, good service...perfection.

After a long day sightseeing and staying nearby we were in need of some simple, well prepared food without the pretence found in 'classy' restaurants but also not 'manufactured' like a fast food joint. Emmett's O'Lunney's hit the bill perfectly. Service was quick and helpful, atmosphere lively... read more

Wide menu designed more to entreat NY and tourist crowds. Some Irish staples on the menu are quite good, but the menu is highly Americanized, as are the beer and liquor choices. Always a busy bar scene, but plenty of seating for meals.

Found this place on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. Went after seeing a show last night. Had a great meal, great service, friendly staff and enjoyed the live music. I will be heading back to O'Lunney's on my next trip to NYC.

There were four of us and each meal was delicious!! I had some special requests and they accommodated with no problems!! Breena was our server and what a delight she was!! Highlight was meeting Emmett himself!! Very much wanting to make sure our dining experience was what we were expecting! I will make a point to eat here on every... More

A fabulous place for a few late night drinks. The food is also pretty good as well, my sliders were very tasty. Some of the friendliest bar staff I've met and a great selection of beers. Drop by!

Stopped in for lunch after freezing in line for tickets at Times Square. Wow what a nice, friendly place! It was very chummy and warm...We had Irish coffees and a big heaping plate of yummy nachos. Very enjoyable afternoon!!

We spent a couple of hours out of the snow on this happy vibrant bar enjoying exceptional smooth Guinness and the craic. We shared a nacho plate which was as enormous as it was tasty. We had such a good time we returned on the evening with two teens for dinner. We had a booth seat and a fabulous waitress... More

We stopped in here for a quick drink before Wicked and ended up coming back for food a few times, because the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Duff our barman was very witty and helpful. As it was our first time in NYC he gave us great advice and recommendations on where to go and do. We had the... More

Good location just north of times square, convenient to a lot of hotels. A lot larger inside than it looks from the outside - bar area as well as a lot of tables at the back. Good choice of beer on tap. Has a larger variety of bar food than many bars including some moderately healthy options (hummus with veggies).

Visited here numerous times for drinks during our stay in NYC as it was right next to the citizenM hotel where we were staying. Extensive choice of beers! Decent food with quick (our mains arrived while we were eating our starters), reliable service.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
