My friends and I were recommended this restaurant. The food was excellent, really tasty. Both couples had the Porterhouse and it was delicious. We were attended to by a number of waiters most of which were very good but... We paid cash and being from London knowing how the Americans value 'service' charge we left a generous tip. The waiter... More

Very yummy overall. Wine and steak amazing. The salad was great, tomato and bacon....but unnecessary. The rolls are to die for. We were too full for desert.

Excellent steaks. Had an aged-rib-eye-on the bone that was a very enjoyable quality steak, a little bit too rare, closer to the bone, but nothing to complain about. Appetizers were good to average. Minus one star for Specialty drinks, looked and tasted like bartender was too overwhelmed, and didn't pay too much attention. Otherwise, a very contemporary place, with an... More

Who ever named this trendy bistro could have done better? The name by itself sounds more like the local butcher than the high end restaurant that it is. The grilled bacon, peanut butter and baked apples combined flavors not normally encountered in one dish. In a word -excellent! The Chatham Cod was light and taste. I also tasted the baby... More

The steaks were 1st rate, done to our request. The wine selection was great. Worth the cost and highly recommended for enjoyable evening in the "Big Apple". The potatoes are fried in duck fat and delicious.

Based on huge portion size from all reviews on meat we both opted for the tuna au poive. It was good, but not peppery enough. Everything else tho was outstanding. Cippolini onions and Brussel Sprouts were great along with shrimp to start the meal. And sticky toffee pudding was a killer way to wrap it up. Pricey but nothing more... More

Following a recommendation we booked weeks in advance of our week long stay in New York. Upon arrival it was overflowing with people eating and in groups drinking after work creating a great atmosphere. Our table was ready early and we were seated. Very trendy but quite low lighting. Our waiter was fun and efficient. Our starter of pan fried... More

Interesting restaurant and great food. Steaks were huge and the table side steak sauce was a nice touch. Brussels sprouts were excellent.

I have not written a bad review before but sadly this is my first! We had a table booked weeks in advance for a 30th birthday. We arrived to what evidently was an overcrowded resteraunt which had the feeling of stress in the air. Our table was not ready and was told to get a drink we didn't really want... More

I can't say enough... great staff, great food and a great experience. Six of us had dinner there on Saturday night, reservations are a must because it was definitely crowded. We each had something different: the ribeye, the filet, the salmon and the tuna and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I... More
