This is hands down one of hte best steak houses in NYC (together with Keen's my favorite). Great atmosphere, very attentive service and the food is amazing. Absolutely worth going but but a reservation is mandatory.

We had high expectations of this place having read such excellent reviews. What can I say? Here goes. The restaurant was dark. The music loud more in line with a nightclub. The owners have obviously got very greedy, packing tables in so tight you are rubbing shoulders with the couple next to you. Everybody is shouting to each other in... More

Had a fantastic burger early lunch during the work week. Friendly, attentive service made all the difference. Handy location near Central Park. Loved the corn brûlée. Atmosphere was quiet, refined and elegantly modern. Would I return? You bet!

We had a booking for 8pm and arrived on time. The table was not available and we were asked to wait at the bar. The bar area was full with patrons sitting and eating at the bar making it very difficult to order a drink while waiting for a table. After eventually catching the eye of the server at the... More

No reservations available until after 11 PM so we sat in the bar in a nice cozy booth.at 5:15 PM. I didn't realize New Yorkers' ate so early. I had the Filet/with bone in at $54.00 and my wife had the Salmon which was nothing special. I enjoyed the steak, cooked to perfection for my taste and would return for... More

This is a large busy restaurant but the staff were extremely helpful and they have the nice touch of being able to supply half bottles of decent wine which is great if your eating solo. The food was excellent and I recommend the baked oysters and the aged steak is excellent. However the key thing is the helpfulness and knowledge... More

Went to dinner on a Sunday evening with a business colleague. I had requested a table in a quiet area so we coud hold a conversation. We were seated in a side room upstairs but it definitely wasn't quiet. Food was good but nothing outstanding. Caesar salad lacked any zing - little hint of garlic, anchovies or parmesan. Organic salmon... More

Arrived early for our 6:30 reservation and were immediately seated. Really cool decor, although the tables were almost right on top of one another and a bit noisy. Being from the wide open western states this is not the norm but for NYC it is. It did not matter. The service was spot on, very friendly and prompt. Delicious complimentary... More

Love the atmosphere and the steaks are great. Its a New York Steak House - owned by the Smith Wollensky group - the prices are large and so are the steaks. Dinner for 3 - 3 cocktails - one 80 bottle of Pinot Noir, 3 apps, 3 steaks, coffee and dessert - $400 no tip That's what it costs At... More

Recently went to Quality Meats for a friend's birthday and if you love meat the way I do, this is definitely a place I would go back to. First and foremost, I can't begin to explain how much we had.....it was like a meat fest starting with the charcuterie sampler board. It was amazing!!! Thinly sliced cuts of finocchiona, salami...
