This was one of our favorite restaurants, convenient to Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, and the theatre district. Unfortunately it has closed, probably due to an unaffordable rent increase.

5 of us had brunch here one weekend before the ballet. Unusual and reasonably priced choices for brunch. The savory sausage strata was delicious - sort of a cross between bread pudding and stuffing!

Considering we were there at around 10am on a Monday and the restaurant was not that busy, it was surprising how long it took for our order to be delivered. We also overheard a nearby table informing our server that she had charged them for a glass of wine that she'd never delivered. The food, however, was delicious so hopefully... More

Contemporary brunch spot with great food and attentive service. I had the Mediterranean frittata which was yummy! Nice restaurant with healthy options.

Liked: selection of healthier breakfast foods. They keep the less healthy bits off-menu, but they are available. Wonderful toast!

Let me start by saying that I drank my dinner here. We were a party of 4 friends from out of town and only one of us ate. She said her pasta dish was great. The drinks were typical NYC prices but the staff was very accommodating making recommendations as well as being willing to craft a drink of my... More

We went to Whym on recommendations, but were disappointed. The location is a bit off the beaten path, and the decor is nice. However, the most important thing- the food - was definitely average or below. Their beet salad was good, but their risotto - we tried 2 different risotto dishes on the waitress's recommendation - was not good at... More

Fantastic little restaurant with lovely food and drink. Waitress very attentive and polite. Location very close to our hotel but on busy noisy road- clearly doesn't get as much attention as some restaurants tucked down side roads. Food was perfect but the portions are massive compared to British portions. Ordered Calamari and must have had about 50+ rings in a... More

We were bringing our girls (12, 10, 4) to NYC for a summer ballet performance at Lincoln Center. Whym was a great pre-show dinner for all of us. We were seated at a booth with floor to ceiling brown leather and modern lighting-- my girls loved this. There are floor to ceiling windows facing the street which let our kids... More

Whym is the "sister" restaurant to Eatery, located just two blocks from Lincoln Center. Their brunch is a great deal, especially the "Crabby Benny" -- a version of eggs benedict based on a crabcake. Yummy varieties of bloody marys as well. And don't miss the amazing desserts.
