Buffalo wings!!!!

We came over to visit from the UK and had heard great things. Buffalo wings were amazing! Zingy and full of flavour and the perfect amount of heat. Cheesesteaks were great. Although known for it's cheese steaks, and you won't find better in NYC, Wogies has probably the best wings in town, too. For the brave of palate, the Krazy sauce is hot but also very flavorful. Super friendly staff and great crowd too. This should be your go to place for wings, beer, cheese steaks or any combo thereof.

This review is pretty biased since I am from Philadelphia and now call NYC home. Wogies (West Village) is bar-none the best place to catch an Eagles game, or any NFL team for that matter during the NFL season. It is small so be sure to get there early if you want a good spot to watch the game(s). You... More

went on a sunday afternoon, didn't know anything about this place. we had a couple of sandwiches, that were very good, and very reasonably priced. it's small, but totally cool, good service, looks like a neighborhood type of place, but the staff were very friendly, and efficient. if we are in the neighborhood again, we'd probably stop in, although we... Went here several times when visiting New York in 2010, not sure why it's took so long to leave a review. Great selection of drinks, nice outside seating area, cosy friendly atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. The food is great too. Had the wings and a few hit sandwiches, all of which were delicious. If you're in town and... More

Wogies food was good. I shared a Philly cheesesteak and a salad, and it was fine. The decor was cool. The atmosphere was really noisy, probably due to the acoustics and the many young hipsters who looked like regulars.

Whenever we go to NYC we always take a day to go and just hang-out and relax in Greenwhich Village. The main reason being is that we have some old family history there, going back to the 1940`s to 1960`s. A part of that family history was a little restaurant that was owned by my wife`s grandparents. That same place... More

Have been to Wogies twice, and both time it has been really tasty. No problem getting a seat, both times we have been we are the only people there however if you were to go at the weekend or if there is a any sports on then I think it can get majorly busy... Great value food and drinks... the... More

Not the best looking restaurant in the world but the wings were awesome. Friendly service. Would definitely return to try one of their other choices of wings :-)

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
