Delicious Chocolate Chip Walnut cookie. It's big and crisp on the outside, goey on the inside. The perfect balance between crisp cookie and cookie dough. We shared one, but I can see how you could eat a whole one yourself.

Walked past one day and saw a queue and wondered what for. Googled it and noticed that supposed to be best cookies in NYC. We went a couple of days later. They were good but not good enough to queue too long for,

When visiting and touring NYC, this gem is easy to find and will be sure to please! It is an easy walk from the Museum of Natural History; or if you find yourself on a double decker tour bus, get off at the Strawberry Fields Central Park stop and walk a few blocks west on 74th St. through a beautiful... Yes Dear Readers the hype is actually true!!! I waited in the hot queue for about 20 mins to get served, whilst my lazy teenage kids enjoyed a relaxing drink at a local cafe! As I got near the front I was getting grumpier by the second as quite a few people asked "do you have a non gluten, lacto... More

On a little side street on the upper west side lies this jewel. Enough has been written about the Levain Bakery, when you're in New York get there and get there early, nearly always busy. I had without doubt the best and juiciest piece of lemon cake, i ever had in my life. DONT MISS IT

I was just in the area and decided to get some cookies. The place of is easy to miss and you just have to know its there. After buying some, I must admit, they were great! Tricky part was to keep your hands clean... If you are nearby, do get some! You really get a lot of value for your... More

It is worthy the time you spend in line waiting for that incredible treats. Walk some blocks to eat them at Central Park and the experience will be complete. Enjoy!!!!

I happened to hear about Levain Bakery while watching one of the food/cooking networks on cable and when I saw how ginormous their cookies were, I told my fiancé, I HAVE TO TRY ONE!!! And try I did!!! And omigoodness, their cookies were just like what they described on tv….huge, delicious, and truly spectacular!!! I have never had a cookie... More

I usually don't eat much cookies but those are by far the best I've ever had! Huge, moist, incredibly tasty : delicious. Try peanut butter and chocolate, you're gonna fall in love!

A bit hard to find, even using my smart phone! Levain is below street level. When I called to ask exactly where they were located the baker said I will stand out front so you can find us, and he did!! So worth the effort. Best chocolate chip walnut cookie ever!! Also tried the cinnamon brioche-delish. My husband travels to... More
