A small venue even for a bakery size. However, their baked goods are off the hook. They may have changed their cookie recipe, on the the choc chips cookies but scones ,cookies and the banana bread is worth the line. This i the second time I have been here. This time I ordered a scone and a slice of the... More

I love to bake cookies. I love to eat cookies. You could say I'm somewhat of a cookie connoisseur. Never have we tasted such a delicious chocolate chocolate chip cookie...EVER. Within the moist, heavenly, chocolaty cookie was a treasure of melting chocolate chips. Our kids back home were so jealous. Super friendly staff AND customers! Levain Bakery customers = happy... Just had to try the Levain experience. It is quite an experience. We got there early and found about 30 people in a que down the block who got there earlier. Man was it cold. ( how about some shelter?... Kidding). We had 2 each of their 4 cookies,( 7 were to take home for friends!) and they were all... More

Our 2nd visit to Levain Bakery and the cookies (dark chocolate chocolate chip & oatmeal & raisin) were as delicious as ever. Is it the 2nd best restaurant in NYC? Probably not but definitely the best cookie shop!

Consider your existence incomplete until you have tried at least one cookie from Levain Bakery. These cookies are about the size of a hamburger slider and they are served warm. Savor every single morsel, because you will despise yourself if you let any go to waste. I had the dark chocolate with peanut butter chips and it was amazing. The... More

This small bakery is a gem in an area that has a wide range of options regarding food. The chocolate cookies have to be sampled at least once.

These are the best cookies I have ever eaten and I cannot imagine that there will ever be a better cookie anywhere, anytime!! The cookies were the size of the palm of my hand - super thick in the middle, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. You buy them hot out of the oven and oh my!!!... More
