We had the best cookies at Levain Bakery. OMG....they were so delicious! We got there close to closing and they ran out of the cinnamon buns that were rated the best by Oprah Winfrey, so we were so disappointed. Absolutely loved this bakery! I was in the city for 5 days and went every day. Stopped before we left to go home to stock up! Best blueberry muffins. Cookies are awesome. Whole wheat walnut raisin bread is great. Can't wait to try other things next time! You have to try this place! more

This little bakery on West 74th Street is so small that you could walk right past it without even noticing it. However, if you go inside and order one of their cookies, you'll be sold on this place forever! (They bake other things besides cookies, but I haven't tried their other offerings.) My favorite?
