OK I stole that line.... A very small semi basement bakery with a big heart. Super good cookies, good coffee and great attitude. Breakfast, lunch or dinner (and dinner if you have sweet tooth).

This place made me feel like Europe. Freshly baked scones and bread. Just delicious. A must try and give this place 5 stars cause of authenticity and small capacity that alway keeps the product in quality.

The cookies might appear to be expensive because they are about four dollars a pop but trust me, it's worth it! They are very large and you might not be able to finish one in a sitting. They are soft and really delicious. The bakery is not a place to sit and hang out. It's a small bakery in a... More

Went in search of this bakery. The line outside the store may help you find this store. The cookies were quite large, and very delicious. I think they were in the $4/each range, but large enough to share or keep some for the next day (good luck with that!). Will go in search on how to duplicate these cookies. In... More

The cookies at Levain are insanely good. My husband drove 20 blocks out of his way to get a bunch. They are like nothing we had ever had before. They are dense like scones and very flavorful. I don't even want to think about the calories!

The best cookie! It's impossible just to have one, my favorite one is the chocolate walnut fudge, just super! I highly recommend it.

I stop there every time I'm in the city! Cookies are warm and gooey. Grab a few napkins on the way out. You will need them!

We almost walked past the bakery, im so glad we didnt. These cookies are expensive but so worth it. I had a oat and raisin and my husband a peanut butter. They were both delicious.

I have had all of the cookies here. The best, IMO, is the Chocolate Cookie with Peanut Butter chips. First, the cookie weights about 1LB. The smell coming out of the door while you wait instantly makes you feel like one of Pavlov's dogs and you salivate and shake in anticipation. The wait and the smell makes it close to... More
