Dumpling French Onion Soup

We heard that the Dumpling French Onion Soup was great, and it sure was. If you are a French onion soup fan, this place is a must go. What a surprise to find an outstanding jazz band playing as we enjoyed our lunch. Tried the sliders and they were average.

We waited for an additional 45min for our table. Not a great start. Then as a gesture of goodwill, we sat in the VIP section, and could order 3 starters for free. Great atmosphere and vibe. We went to The Box after which was a great evening out.

We had a reservation for 8 pm last Saturday. Made weeks ahead - based on reviews here. But when we got there, the entire place was twenty-something bridge and tunnel. Including a large bridesmaids party. Not fun. Not sophisticated. Not interesting. Bubba Gumps in Times Square would have been better.

Have been wanting to eat here since watching Chopped for years with Chris Santos as Judge -- everything from the food to the service was top notch - we had the French onion dumplings, tuna poke, red snapper tacos, grilled octopus, chicken and waffles, and spanikopita --- all of it was great, be advised that are all tapa size (perfect... Stumbled across this great place on a recent trip to NYC. We didn't book, but had no problems getting a table. Staff were very helpful. We chose 5 dishes, which was enough for the two of us, and a couple of cocktails, which were great. Would definitely eat here again.

Stanton Social continues to be one of my favorite brunch spots. Located on the Lower East Side, it's in a fun neighborhood. This is a great spot to meet up with friends, bring out of town guests, or have a date. I love the decor - modern, industrial, yet warm and inviting. The tapas style menu is perfect for brunch.... Came here on a sat night, made reservation on same day, which was shocking. This place is very crowded & loud . It's a tapas bar restaurant. So we ordered 7 dishes . Everything was good, my rib was just ok. French onion soup dumpling was yummy as well as the fish tacos. My husband was hungry when he left.... More

I went here with three friends. We ordered five dishes which were more than enough, though we were advised to order seven or eight. It would have been too much. The wasabi tuna was delicious, as were the chicken and waffles. It wouldn't be a good place if you were in a very large group though as I think it... More

Second visit and it is still delicious. It can be very loud and busy though so not a great place for romance.
