We went to little owl on a beautiful Sunday night. The food was simple and good...service was attentive. My only complaint was the restaurant was loud and we felt slightly rushed.

I ate here with my wife to celebrate our first year anniversary. The staff are friendly and the ambience was amazing. We got seated in an excellent location in the window and must have been photographed a hundred times by tourists photographing the building as it was used in the FRIENDS sitcom. Couldn’t fault the meal at all. The black... More

A tiny restaurant in the West Village...from the moment you walk in you want to stay... A warm welcome from a lovely hostess into a charming and inviting space, delicious food and good service. Comfort food with an edge...and a dining experience you won't forget.

The decor is sweet and very Village-y, the food is consistently good, and the creative cocktails come in interesting glasses. It's cozy and sunny and airy all at once. Go here.

The food was amazing just not enough to fill me. The location is nice and the staff served us promptly but never check on us after the food was served until it was time for our checks to be paid.

I found Little Owl on a list of the best burgers in NYC. Their menu was appealing so I made a reservation- and thank goodness I did. Even though it was a Friday afternoon during a tropical storm, I don't think we could have gotten a table without the reservation. The space is small- cozy, warm, inviting. It is a... More

A cute little restaurant nestled in the West Village area -- quiet, human scale, nice ambience. Food was decent. I ordered fish, but it did not taste so good as I hoped in the tomato based sauce. Also there was a bit of bone to pick out, but overall pretty good. My dessert, cherry, apple strudel was a tad dry.... More

I really had to do some talking so my family of 8 would follow me to Little Owl. Everyone was very pleased with everything from soup to nuts. Eggplant was delicious as was as the halibut. My aunt has owned 3 restaurants and she was very pleased with the smaller menu. Concentrate on a few menu items and make them... More
