My wife and I ate at the Little Owl on. a Sunday night. They were out of salmon and lamb. The meatball sliders were nothing special. My wife had the whole fish (because they were out of salmon) it was ok. I had the chicken and it was very good. The best part of the meal were the 2 veggies... More

Enjoyed a pleasant brunch at Little Owl. The food was very tasty with a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options. Enjoyed the special which was a vanilla french toast with berries. Others in our party had the whole wheat pancakes (hearty and wholesome) and a burger. The waiter or kitchen forgot one of our sides, but happily took it... More

After reading the reviews, we decided to try to book a table at Little Owl for our recent visit to New York. The earliest reservation we could get was 9:30 (late by our standards, but it worked out fine). It is a tiny restaurant with only a few tables. We were immediately greeted and seated (even though we were a... More

Ummmm, so the meatball sliders are possibly the best thing I've ever put in my mouth! Don't make the same mistake I did and share the three sliders between two people, order one serving each...and then maybe another after that.

I loved this place! Starting with great salads, soft shell crab, and wonderful meatball sliders. We had different fish plates - all amazingly prepared and perfectly paired! Great wine list. Overall, I couldn't find any flaws other than kind of small and crowed; but, that is part of the experience.

If you like excellent food and service, you must go to this place. The meatballs, the hamburguer (for brunch, in the top on NYC best hamburguers) or the cheff recommendation are excellent options. Also the staff, very very nice. Its "only information" the fact that this was located in the building of Friends TV show.

Book a table, the place is tiny, and I think breakfast was our fave meal there. All egg dishes crazy good as well. This is a find.

We went there for lunch based on the good reviews. We got a pasta that was very good.....we weren't warned how spicy it was, but it still was very good. Accommodations are very tight, but it's charming and a good location ( we had the table by the window).

This is not a bad place to eat, when you pass by this area and happened they have a table for you. However, I really couldn't see what to rave about. We tried several dishes the server recommended and I would say they are all average. With consider there are so many outstanding restaurant in NY, I would definitely try... More

This is a quaint little restaurant that I traveled out of my way to visit while in NYC. Gotta try their dessert menu! Great place!
