What a brilliant restaurant. Intimate and welcoming with first class food to match this is certainly an experience not to be missed! Three of us dined here and we all had different dishes and every single course was a delight. For mains we had the pork, lamb, fish and the plates all went back empty. All dishes were cooked to... I'm 34 years old and this was literally the best food I have ever put in my mouth. Enough said about that. Service also top-notch. This place deserves to be #5 out of 11,000+ restaurants in Manhattan. That's in the top 99.999th percentile of restaurants in NYC. Can not believe we walked in on a Monday afternoon and did't need... My boyfriend and I chose to have our Christmas Day dinner here while visiting NYC after reading fabulous reviews! It did not disappoint!!! We were welcomed in from the cold by who we now know to be the owner saying "come and join the party, we are all family here"! The maître d spoke to us as if we were... More

My wife and I went here for our 5th anniversary dinner while visiting NYC (we're from Vancouver). We read lots about this place, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was top notch - the meatball sliders, polenta, Whole Fish main for me, and the Braised Beef for my wife. Wine selection is a bit upscale, but not outrageous.... More

The Little Owl is a little gem! We booked for lunch and had a superb mea!I I chose the soup followed by lobster risotto. Lobster is not something I would normally eat and it was superb and would definitely come back to eat it again! The atmosphere was lovely and the service very friendly. We will be back!

Myself and my partner had done quite a bit of research before travelling to New York to ensure that we would have a lovely meal on the night of my birthday. We booked Little Owl for 9.30pm on sunday night and what a lovely place it is! Great atmosphere and very cosy although when we arrived we were very very... More

It's my second visit to LO - both very plesant. Both times i've had the sliders as a starter - complete success! This time i had the whole fish as main - a bream. It was very nice! The winelist is very good - i had a priorat and a verdejo - both rarely found at US restaurants. I'll be... More

Little Owl is a wonderful tiny little place in the West Village. It's noisy and bustling in a good way. The food is very good and service is very professional. Interesting wine list. Recommended.
