My friend and I wandered into this restaurant for a drink and snack after seeing an afternoon matinee, and didn't leave for over 3 hours. A great tequila selection, and wonderful bartender Luba really knew the selection. The truffle quesadilla was amazing! I will be back for it!

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. The moment we arrived, our waiter Miguel welcomed us with a big smile. Through the night he was extremely helpful and ready to answer all our questions, I was surprised to experience such an amazing service. The food was delicious. We tried some of the ceviches, the paella and the... More

The food (especially the guacamole) is delicious. Pricing is fair but a bit on the high side. We got lucky on a Monday evening and walked right in and were seated. This place can get CRAZY crowded on the weekends and before shows so if you have a tight schedule, a reservation might be best.

Truly wonderful dinner. Small plate options so the dinner can be more reasonably priced for a NYC meal. We had our adventurous 11yo with us. She had 2 short rib tacos & split a roasted shrimp quesadilla with me, I also had the spicy lobster tacos. The third meal was Black truffle Cod - husband loved it. We also had... More

This place was referred to me by one of the staff at CitizenM. The place is a very busy bustling restaurant although I did manage to get a table. I was eating alone. Again, didn't feel awkward. Asked the waiter for advice on which beer to try and he was spot on with what I chose for my lunch. By... More

Well, more like brunch, we came in at 11:30, but apparently on the weekend they're still serving a lot of breakfast items at this time. I got the equivalent of steak and eggs... Sooooo yummy. Very flavorful and accompanied with delicious guacamole! Not to mention they make a great marg... after all, what's Mexican without some tequila? Definitely check it... More

We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and were promptly seated. Had mango margaritas and the traditional guacamole. For dinner, I had the lobster tacos. All of the food was fresh and delicious. The service was prompt. We were going to the theater after our early dinner and made it with time to spare. Would definitely return--loved everything about... Toloache was a recommendation by the concierge at our hotel and was really a wonderful meal. 3 friends and I were having some "girl time" in New York and wanted something light and tasty before taking in a show. The food was indeed tasty. We shared a guacamole and each had an order of tacos. The portions were just right... More

The food was authentic and delicious! The service was excellent. Be aware...The portions are smaller but very fresh and tasty. I needed reservations on a Thursday night for the five of us.

I dined here with my parents after reading positive reviews, we decided to wonder in at last minute. Although you can make reservations the wait time was second to none and you could take a seat at the bar though it can be very busy we were fortunate to get seats but ended up eating our main at the bar....
