We visited this restaurant twice during our visit to NYC! We usually like to stay away from the super 'touristy' areas, but this place was worth it! Both times the place was packed and we didn't have any reservations, so we just sat at the bar! The service was very good both times and friendly! Would definitely recommend the guacamole,... More

This place was packed but really good, different Mexican food. Gotta get the guacamole and ceviche along with a good beer or cocktail.

We were on our way to see a show at Iridium and picked Toloache. We didn't have a Resv but agree with the hostess we would leave by 9pm. Our waiter knew our time crunch and was excellent. We enjoyed the guacamole, an ahi ceviche and each had entrees. The shrimp entree was really fantastic and I would highly recommend... More

We seem to end up in the times square area quiet a bit... and i feel like i am still looking for a great restaurant, where the food lives up to expectation. Unfortunately Toloache was a little bit of a let down. The Service was a little off, the space was nice, but needs some cleaning, and the food just... More

If you like Mexican food, this is a tasty place to eat. My husband and I wanted something easy to eat before going to a Broadway show (which was near the Circle in the Square Theater). The salsa and chips were great--get the trio! Then if you want something different like I did order the "grasshopper tacos". Yes, I said... More

We went to NY to see the Christmas tree in Rockerfeller Center. Our lunch reservations at a local burger joint got cancelled because of an error. We tried finding other places to eat nearby to no avail! It was impossible to find any place that was able to seat a party of 5 without reservations! With 5 hungry stomachs, &... More

Guacamole was very tasty as well as the free tomato/chipotle salsa. Taco's were the best we have ever eaten in NYC. Try the beer braised brisket and the shrimp.

This was close to the theatre district so that was a plus. The guacamole was terrific but everything else was just ordinary. The tacos were very small and the brisket tacos were just OK. The Chicken quesadilla was very bland. The churros for dessert were good, but not spectacular or different from any other Mexican restaurant. We were not impressed.

You need to keep your hat and scarf on if you're seating on the first floor. The negative pressure in the dining room is so strong, it's very difficult to open the door and when it is opened, there is a huge gust of cold air coming into the room. They had space heaters on the floor when they need... More

After experiencing the front row of Rock of Ages, Mexican food at Toloache kept the party going! The sangria, salsa, and service was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the lobster tacos.
