Margarita Heaven

The food...well, I can't remember what it tasted like because after happy hour and three frozen pear Margaritas I was lost in the wash. I remember really enjoying the experience and the drinks were exemplary.

Went here with friends tonight after a show. We were seated rather quickly upstairs (There are two levels). They had a special menu for the week and we ordered from it. The appetizers, entrees, and the desserts were all very good. Yes, as some others have said, it is a bit pricey, but this is not your run of the... More

Saw this recommended in a food review no since it's close to the Theater district we decided to try it before our show. Fantastic food - everything we had was fresh and yummy. Particularly liked the guac (pricey but worth it) and the chicken quesadilla. Shrimp quesadilla was excellent also. Cute restaurant, nice atmosphere. Make reservations if possible. We were... More

In my nearly 400 reviews, I've rarely given out 1's or 2's. But Toloache was a major disappointment. And not just because the high ratings raised our expectations. We were seated at a table (upstairs, left wall) with cold, blowing air conditioning. We asked to move (and were told by people nearby we were the third party to move from... More

The food and drinks were awesome. The guacamole was incredible!! I would definitely recommend this place, but make sure to call for reservations. We ate dinner here after our show at the Circle in the Square theater.

AMAZING food and the service was brilliant. Best Mexican restaurant - very authentic. Went with 4 people, were seated straight away. The tables are a little close together...felt like I was sitting in my neighbours lap.

If you want to enjoy a cosy dinner with your family, then don't go there. It is a very crowded place. Tables are very close to each other and also quite dark in the corner they put us. It is not the European style of dining, but maybe you cannot expect this from a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was recommended... More

Lively, festive place in the Theater district. Not your typical rice & beans burrito, but serious, flavorful food. The issue is that prices are high and portions are small - not terribly surprising given the location, but a bit of a distraction nonetheless

We were recommended this restaurant from our hotel's concierge, and it did not disappoint! The food and drinks her were pretty fantastic. They are known for their huge selection of tequila and the drinks were made well. The food was absolutely amazing! It was not what I expected because I am from the south and our Mexican food is completely... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
