Great sushi

Huge menu. Lots of sushi rolls many very unique. Big sashimi menu too. All we focused on but have lots of other choices. Sushi was fabulous with interesting sauces. Big specialty drink and sake menu. We loved it !

This is a Chinese sushi place. What does this mean? Not authentic or fresh. Poorly prepared. In a nutshell, sushi is a Japanese cuisine and best to go where a real Japanese chef is at work. I decided to venture here after I was tired of the expensive sushi at the Time Warner building. Looks nice from outside but inside... More

We were visiting New York for a business conference along with a client from South Africa. We had such a great meal and dining experience on the Saturday, we all were desperate to go back again on the following Tuesday. We weren't disappointed on our second visit either. Everything was so light, fresh and tasty.

Stumbled across this place on 58th street, last minute booking which they were able to accommodate which always makes you worry. Nothing to worry about, the food was fab. Efficient service, lovely fresh salad & sushi and a miso sea bass dish that was melt in the mouth. Had a similar dish a Nobu for 5 times the price. Tasted... More

Our family found Sushi Damo Damo by sheer coincidence as we happened to end up at Columbus Circle after a stroll around Central Park. We felt a bit peckish and thought a few sushi and sashimi would just be the right thing to have. It was early in the evening and we happened to be among the first guests to... More

Unprofessional staff, Racist staff, and just poor judgment on my behalf to even go to this establishment! By the way.... I speak fluent Japanese and astounded them when I cut the staff off and spoke their language and politely told them how I felt about the service! You could hear crickets in the restaurant!

that's the very best sushi i ever ate, so the price totally worth it, it took a combo 1 person and could not end the plate but the fact they automattically charge you 20% tips without saying anything, or that you must ask for the change because they believe the rest was for the extra tips that's rude also the... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
