We went here after a concert at Symphony Space. It is a chain in NY and has Peruvian food. Tables are close together and it was pretty noisy but the food was really good. Both of us really enjoyed it a lot. I had a shrimp dish that was really gray. Although a chain restaurant is not my first choice,... More

We met some family who live in NY here for lunch on the 2nd Jan. What a place! We ordered two platters, not sure of the names, but they were delicious. Great chicken, fries, salad and more importantly Sangria. Will defiantly be going back when in NY again.

We visited Peru a few years ago, staying mostly in the Andes, and I loved that rustic cooking. I was looking forward to trying Pio Pio to see how it compared. The food at Pio Pio is heavily fish-based, not the same cuisine as in the Andees, more like Lima. We had good meals--pollo and ceviche. The food, however, didn't... More

My wife is from the country of Peru. When we went there to eat, my wife and I could not believe that everything was actually from her country. We had a rotisserie chicken (pollo a la brasa) along with some cusqueña beer. We missed having food like that.

This restaurant was around the corner from our hotel, so with nothing more than proximity to draw us in, we gave it a try. The staff were friendly, but the food was just average. Perhaps the dishes we tried were not their best. We won't return. There are too many other really good places in New York.

An adorable spot ruined by the chicken that was cooked till it became an arid avian. The service was passable. Quick to get seated in a quiet space. The flan was creamy and delicious. The place is mobility aid accessible if you can get through the doors and manage tight squeezes. Portraits of Peruvian children's adorable faces flank a breastfeeding... More

Juanitas chicken and avocado salad are a wonderful combination, and ample food for two. The Peruvian beer was very good. Wait staff were great. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The chicken was the juiciest chicken I've ever tasted in my life, hands down! Amazing! This is family style, so you can order enough for 4 people with some of their specials! This was a great experience for me and the family! Juanita's Chicken!!

Our 3rd trip to New York, and our 9th or 10th visit to our favorite restaurant there. We can't get enough of this place. The service is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the know exactly how to cook seafood. My favorite dish is the Corvina A Lo Macho. Imagine a Peruvian bouillabaise and you've got the idea. Every kind... More

Authentic peruvian ceviche. I get the white fish. Very citrusy and delicious. Crave worth for sure. Also a great green sauce.
