Best Chicken

The Juanita;s chicken is one of the best i have ever had and the Cerviche was superb. Great drinks, gorgeous atmosphere, waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended and huge space that can accomodate large parties.

I have only been to the small,34th street location. Very casual and noisy, but I love this place! I always order the same thing; chicken, rice, beans and fried yucca. Now, before you judge all the carbs, its always after a hard workout, so I can actually enjoy my carb on carb dining experience and I take more than half... More

We ordered the empanada appetiser and the combo meal...the server was very friendly and tried to warn us that this would be a lot of food...we thought the normal size portions would be fine (whole chicken, rice, beans, maduros, and frankfurters/fries...but the amount of food barely fit on our 2 person table!! The empanadas were delicious, juicy, and the size... More

Nice location in a section a bit quieter than the 80's section of Amsterdam Avenue. Recommend the Rice with Seafood. Large portion, enough for two and brimming with fresh and delicious seafood. The atmosphere is very nice, on a corner with white linen table cloths and nice selection of authetic Peruvian dishes and a staff who is knowledgeable. It was... More

I had their specials of the day- sautéed scallops with mashed yucca, and, for the main course, baked fillet mignon in black pepper sauce. Both were heavenly. I just wish I hadn't been seated relatively close to the door since it was frigid outside. The prices were fairly substantial: $16 for the scallops appetizer and $34 for the fillet. But... More

My husband and I live in the neighborhood. This is our go-to restaurant. The roasted chicken is fabulous. You can't go wrong with their staple dish (chicken pio). I've eaten there so many times and I've never had a bad meal. Service is good but they sometimes need a reminder when you ask for something like extra sauce but not... More

The special lunch is not on the menu. You need to ask the waiter for it. In this restaurant which is a good deal the special is the best buy. You get chicken, sides, salad and they even throw in a soda.

I've visited several of their locations within the city, but this was the best experience!! The location is "small" but large enough, if you don't enjoy a large group of people around you. If you're familiar with the brand, then you know the food selection & presentation excellent! Visit them, you're have a great time.

We went here after a concert at Symphony Space. It is a chain in NY and has Peruvian food. Tables are close together and it was pretty noisy but the food was really good. Both of us really enjoyed it a lot. I had a shrimp dish that was really gray. Although a chain restaurant is not my first choice,... More

We met some family who live in NY here for lunch on the 2nd Jan. What a place! We ordered two platters, not sure of the names, but they were delicious. Great chicken, fries, salad and more importantly Sangria. Will defiantly be going back when in NY again.
