I Stretched to Rate this a 4

I visited on a cold Saturday at about 2 pm; prime lunch time for NYC. Place was about 75% full and I was seated at a window table looking out; nice spot. Servers were polite and prompt. The food arrived in about 10 minutes and the server knew I was going to ask for more BBQ sauce and ketchup... read more

Bone Lick Park is spitting distance from my apt. I come here after work for a drink and an appetizer from time to time. BBQ shrimp is pretty good. Turkey salad, fried oysters and ribs are all good. BBQ sauce has a melange if Flavors including anise. I am proud that this restaurant has survived over the years when so... More

I came here for Trivia night hosted by my meetup group. When I walked in, I noticed it's a very casual atmosphere. The server was very prompt with bringing a menu over, while I was waiting for others from the meetup group to arrive. I ordered the spiked Arnold Palmer- it was very tasty! For food, I ordered the two... More

We actually came back the next day on our Greenwich Village weekend, we liked it so much. Very well priced for the neighborhood, with hearty servings and free flowing drinks, though there is little BBQ on the brunch menu. We had fish & chips, huevod rancheros, fried chicken, and biscuits & gravy. The fried foods were crisp and fresh tasting,... More

A casual eatery which inside reminded me of a fast food restaurant, which I did not care for, but had a quaint outside café. There we sat, at this street corner cafe and enjoyed New Yorkers as they walked to work, to lunch or on their daily routines. We had excellent service from a Central American waiter, who promptly brought... More

Prior to visiting Greenwich Village, a friend recommended the place to us and I am glad she did. Splendid atmosphere, choices of seating - outside or inside. We are the Sunday brunch, the food was absolutely awesome and very filling. Large plates and plenty of food. Our server was very attentive to everyone.

We went on a Wednesday night offer night and were not disappointed! I have a large appetite and could only manage the one plate of the "all you can eat ribs" This, coupled with $2 beer made it well recommended.

What can I say? An unseasonably cold day and comfort food such as soup and BBQ soothes the soul and warms the heart. The pulled pork did not disappoint (though my Southern husband would have preferred Mustard sauce with it). Perfect pea and ham soup and a damn fine key lime pie served up with minty mojitos. Great value and... More

We wanted to do brunch New York style, and this was a great place to have our first ever brunch. The place was full, buzzing with a great atmosphere. Brunch menu includes cocktails for an hour, which we thought would just be one or two, but our glass was never empty! Our friendly waiter made sure our glasses were never... More

Me and my wife have been here 4 times in the two trips we have been on in NYC and we love it!! We stumbled across it whilst out with a friend and we were lured in by the cheap cocktails! The food was excellent and has been every time we have been! Most recently we went for the $15.95... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
