Probably the best view from a restaurant in NYC but...

...prices are very high compared to the standard of the food and service. You are most certainly paying for the view. If you are happy with a slightly above average meal and a magnificent view it may be worth the experience.

We went as a family dinner on a Thursday, and I don't know if they save their "good" wait staff until the weekend, but we certainly got some duds. The elderly woman who showed us to our table wasn't very nice and our waitress looked like she'd rather be anywhere but there. The food was good - I'll certainly give... More

If you haven't come here yet, there's a big possibility that you've only seen the city and it's surrounding area about a small percent...aside from their very good food.

We dined in the restaurant the first day of our stay in New York at the Marriott Marquis. As we had a long day travelling we decided to book this restaurant to kick start our holiday and that because it was within our hotel. The views of New York's Skyline at night was amazing, the restaurant revolves so you get... More

After watching a matinee Broadway Music, "Wicked", we stopped by the Revolving Lounge of the Marriott on Broadway in Manhattan for pre-dinner cocktails. We could have had dinner there, but the view from the revolving lounge was nothing unusual, so we decided to move on and had dinner elsewhere near our next show, "Something Rotten".

We had Father's Day Brunch at this slowly revolving restaurant. Typical grand buffet with omelet station, pancake station, salads and lots of desserts. Food is so varied, it's hard to sum up - some was great, some was good. View is nice, but probably better at night with lights. It's a novelty that makes for a unique meal experience for... More

We had dinner with friends at this restaurant. It was a prefix menu with a lot of choices. Food was beautifully presented, but average in taste. Pricey but you are paying for a beautiful 360 degree view of NYC. Yes it rotated. It was a bit weird at first, but you got used to it. Once the sunset set and... More

This restaurant is at the top of the Marriott Marquis hotel in the heart of Times Square. We had a 9:15 PM dinner reservation and were seated promptly. The dining area rotates once an hour, providing a wonderful 360 degree view of Manhattan. Attractive dining area. Very good service. Good menu. Appetizers were average. I always like tuna, but I... On the top of the New York Marquis Hotel where you can see All New York City and part of New Jersey. If you are going for dinner there it is best to make reservation to get in the front of the line because the line sometimes is very long specially after the Broadway show is out. It is located... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
