I thought it was going to be "snooty", but the atmosphere was quite relaxed. Had a few cocktails and a couple appetizers, and enjoyed great convo with co-workers after a long day! Even tried something new - Bison - not gamey at all...and moist!

Stopped in here after work for a drink and some food. Ended up having a delicious bison burger and several glasses of catena Malbec. Great selection of wines and whiskeys and very good service. The restaurant is expansive so easy to get a table.

If you like steaks, either beef or bison, perfectly cooked, then you need to try Ted's. The meal was fabulous and so was dessert. It's right in Midtown, and very close to the Theater District. Don't eat too much or you'll be dozing during the play.

It was a very convenient restaurant from our Sheraton Hotel at 811 7th. Highly recommend the bison burger the best hamburger. There service was great and food delicious. We have eaten in this establishment in other cities. I received extra service from this restaurant as I left my glasses here.

The entire table sent the food back as nothing was prepared as requested. Waitress was nice, but the overcooking of the meat at a place like this is unacceptable.

We first discovered Teds Montana Grill in Denver and we're so impressed we dragged 7 of our mates back when we visited New York. We were not disappointed! I again had the bison nachos and bison rib eye and it was awesome! The milkshakes are well worth a taste too. The service was brilliant and even though we rocked up... More

Be sure to read the calorie counts on the menu at this Steak House poseur. The onion ring appetizer delivers 1,150 calories, the most I usually eat in a whole dinner! We ordered grilled shrimp as an appetizer as we love shrimp and we love the low calories in chrimp, but Ted's would have none of that. The shrimp were... More

I have eaten here a few times on trips to NYC and have never had a bad meal. The menu is more grill than steakhouse (hence the name of the restaurant), so if you're looking for a wide array of steak options, this isn't the place. Looking for a great burger and other classic grill choices and you won't be... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
