Great food and atmosphere

I have eaten here a few times on trips to NYC and have never had a bad meal. The menu is more grill than steakhouse (hence the name of the restaurant), so if you're looking for a wide array of steak options, this isn't the place. Looking for a great burger and other classic grill choices and you... read more

Got stuck going here with out-of-town friends, and OMG, it's gotta be THE worst "steakhouse" ever. First off, they have very few steaks to choose from, and only TWO sauces are offered. The food was maybe at Applebee's level, if that. DO NOT GO HERE.

Our meal at Ted's was spectacular. We had a handsome and excellent waiter named Lincoln who really made the meal the perfect experience it was. The food was outstanding, and the drinks were too. Be sure to order the drink called Buffalo 41, made with bourbon. Awesome. The five of us ordered different things....bison steak, hamburger, bison filet, as well... More

To be fair the staff were friendly and the restaurant is clean and well presented. We were just gutted that after working up a huge appetite walking around New York that both our meals were served luke warm at best. I had the Bison cheeseburger with fries (both cold) my wife the Crab cakes. Had we had more time we... More

We went for lunch at this restaurant. It had a great buzzing vibe about it. We both ordered bison burgers and were very impressed. There is a great choice of toppings and the meat was perfectly cooked to our liking. The staff were friendly and it was a nice place to break up a shopping day and recharge the batteries.

We had been in the Rockefeller Center area and were looking for a place to have dinner when we walked by Ted's Montana Grill and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did, because we had a very good meal there. The bison served here comes from Ted Turner's ranch in Montana. I have had bison meat... More

Place is a quick walk down 51st St from Radio City Music Hall. Nice tables, booths and a bar area with stools at the bar and high top tables. Menu was a nice variety but food was just ok. Was with a group of friends & each of us ordered something different. I ordered the Big Sky grilled with chicken.... More

This was my first time eating at Ted's. I have seen them in my travels around the country. Service was great even for a busy lunch time. We had a group of 9 with no issues. All meals came out in a timely manner. Nice menu with a variety of selections. We have one here in CT also and will... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
