I went here on a date night with my boyfriend, and the food was deeeeeeeelisious! it's genuine Cuban cuisine along side live Latin music, and and delightful pitcher of white Sangria... I enjoyed listening to the bongs play, viewing the patrons dance, and just enjoying the evening with my boyfriend, HOWEVER the atmosphere IS loud, so there isn't room for... More

The food is outstanding. This restaurant, which is not big in size, is huge on flavor, atmosphere, and service. Our entrees were so good that we nearly licked our plates. I had the cazuela, which is a seafood casserole in a not too spicy sauce with cassava and plantain. I've had it at other restaurants but it was never as... More

I celebrated my birthday here. I love their chicken and avocado soup. The chocolate souffle dessert came with a sparkler and was accompanied by singing waiters. Live music on weekend nights. Fun! But stick to lunch and early evening if you want to engage in conversation while dining.

Located just south of Columbus Circle and Central Park on 8th Ave, we stopped in for lunch after checking the menu outside and were greeted by great service, interesting and very good food, which happens to be Cuban, at a great value, in attractive surroundings. Apparently most nights there is live music as well, which we hope to sample on... More

We really enjoyed the authentic Cuban Food at Guantanamera. The food was much better than I expected. I cook Cuban food (as a Cuban) so I know Cuban food & this was right on point. The Pollo Guantanamera was excellently seasoned & the portion was big. My husband had the Palomilla steak with Congri & Plantains and was also very... More

I met a colleague here to talk about a project we are planning. We both ordered the special of the day and were treated to a three course meal of that was a tour of traditional Cuban food. I would do the same again. Those of you who do not know Cuban food should trust this restaurant and order whatever... More

Having recently been to Cuba, I can say, the food was definitely authentic and very delicious!! We were looking for a restaurant for our final night in NYC and hoped we made the right choice. We did!!!! Nice spacing between the tables, the service was friendly...and the band was incredible! It was perfect for us! Left feeling very upbeat...and it... More
