Great food,Great service,Great fun!!

We went on a Saturday night and the band was playing and we felt like we were in Havana. There was a great crowd there but the service was still really good. The food was excellent too. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mario and his lovely wife. We will definitely return very soon.

Not bad. Not good. Thin sliced avocado on salad was the highlight. Pork chops were tough. Not going to come back. Not going to tell people they MUST come here. Music is nice; oldies like Guantanamera, Beso me Mucho.

I watched Chef and decided I had to try the first sandwich made in the food truck. I did have one and it was good. Not great like I imagined. I wondered if the pork was Mojo marinated as it's supposed to be because it was bland in the sandwich. I have to try more Cuban restaurants.

We dined at Guantanamera on a Sunday afternoon, after discovering it by accident. It turned out to be a lucky accident! This is easily some of the best, most authentic, Cuban food that I've found outside of the Caribbean and south Florida. Although they do have a standard menu, we dined off of the prix fixe menu, which allows for... More

I was here for lunch and dinner in the same week. The food is delicious. The service is great, and the sangria is perfect. The prices are so reasonable and the Cuban vibe is great. They have a band in there during dinner time and its feels so home like. I definitely recommend this place and cant wait to go... More

My wife and I used to live in Florida when we were first married and became hooked on Cuban food. It's been difficult to find authentic, high quality Cuban food since we moved to New England. Well this spot was great! My wife had the grilled octopus appetizer, and it was spectacular! We both had the Cuzuela Marinera seafood dish... More

We visited 2 times because we loved it here. Food was excellent and all sides like Tostones and salat also was just fabulous. Mojitos like should be, very Cuban. Totally recommended. A bit pricey but great place.

Me and my girlfriend ended up at this place because of friend of us living in Manhattan invited us to have a dinner. It couldn't be more pleasant. Guantanamera is perfect from every point of view. I consider myself as a caribbean fan, and this place is just an oasis in the middle of the Big City. Cuban traditional food... More

We had a very nice meal at this Cuban restaurant. The two empanada appetizer was great. I couldn't choose so got one chicken and and beef. The skirt steak with chimichurri sauce was done perfectly. The coconut custard was light and fluffy and delicious. Attentive and friendly service. Really noisy and crowded.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
