Great music, food, and ambiance!

We loved our experience here! We started with "chorizos al vino" which is a type of Spanish sausage in a nicely seasoned wine sauce and tamales. Our entree was "rabo de vaca" that is a cow's tail with peppers and onions. This was my first time tasting this dish, and I loved the flavorful and tender... read more

After living in Miami for almost 30 years, I'm always looking for good Cuban food. This is definitely the place!! Some of the best food I've had. We had the pork and congri with plantains and it was out of this world. Highly recommend!

Packed on a Saturday night. Best mojitos since I was in Havana while we waited for a table. Delicious dinner, wine, live band, surprise singer, and patrons dancing. Such an enjoyable night. Can't wait to go back.

On a cold, New York evening, this place was wall-to-wall people at 8:00 p.m. A GREAT fibe. The food was amazing and the live music transports you to Havana!

My husband is from Cuba. Food was mediocre at best, very expensive and service was poor. I'd never go back. Surprised it was rated well.

Dinner on Tuesday night with live music. Seated promptly for our 8:45 reservation. Fun environment but the band was loud enough on a few songs that we had to shout in order to talk at the table. Food was all first rate. Highly recommend the VACA FRITA ($23.50)- it was fantastic. The beef was very flavorful and rich. The CHULETAS... More

nice food, not a huge vegetarian selection, but cooked well and lovely atmosphere. tuesday night was half price margeritas, which were prepared really well. the live music was nice, we were at the front and it was not too loud at all - the food is quite expensive compared to other nyc places.

Fantastic food and service. Intimate restaurant in great location in Midtown. Our server was friendly and attentive. Best mojito I ever had with fresh lime juice and a sugar cane garnish. We then had sopa de pollo-- comforting chicken soup garnished with fresh avocado on a blistery, cold night. We then shared the Cubano sandwich, a good idea since it... More

We visited on a recent trip to NYC but found it to be a little touristy. The service was decent and the lunch special provided decent portions with a bit of a brand flavor. Also great value but was disappointed as we were expecting authentic Cuban fare. Strongly recommend other Cuban restaurants outside of the Time Square area. The service,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
