Oh Lord, we motor boarded chocolate!

Freaking delicious! We had fondue. It was all amazing, so good. I had two chocolate martini's, I have zero complaints! YUM!

Limited choices in main menu. Our food was okay, but not special. We were looking forward to the chocolate fondu but found it to be disappointing. We were there on a Friday around 5:30. We waited about 15 minutes for seats (not too bad). Tables are too close together and we were bumped by loud families next to us.

If you love chocolate, this is the place for you. From drinks to main courses, to desserts, not only are the portions generous, but it is all delicious. You can also purchase items to bring home.

Max Brenners is a great place for kids or an easy place to take a date. It's got that charm of not being the run of the mill restaurant but it's definitely not for the more sophisticated palette. Since its not advertised as being higher end it does a great job living up to expectations. My kids love all the... More

Definitely a cool spot for a great NYC evening! Max's White Russian was truly out of this world, and would make The Dude proud, haha. The Deep Bleu cobb salad was an impressive size and delicious. Packed with chicken, bacon, and avocado and I had to take almost half of t home! A+ evening.

My first opportunity to dine at this establishment was in Vegas about 5 years ago (it has since closed). Three years ago while wandering the streets of NYC, I came across this location and I was so ecstatic! I told my girlfriends we just had to dine there. Returning this month, I told my friends traveling with us to NYC... More

Not only are the chocolate items delicious, but the breakfast was also. I had ordered the lazy breakfast and it was great! Plus the decor has a touch of whimsy to it!

We were in NYC on for an overnight on our way back in the country for vacation to hang out with my brother and decided to go to Max Brenner since we all have chocolate cravings. We loved it! The chocolate alcohol beverages, the deserts, and food were great. Our only complaint we had a reservation and we had an... More

I am not a chocolate lover but still visited this cafe on two occasions. It was warm option on a freezing NYC day. I opted for a mocha and while it was extremely sweet, I must say that the service was exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and an asset to this cafe.

Amazing! I ordered the five cheese macaroni with bacon and tomatoes and I have to say it was absolutely the best mac and cheese I have ever had! For dessert myself and three others split an order of fondue (don't remember which size, I believe it was the smallest) and it was plenty for all of us! The different types... More
