I'm not a steak eater, but the service and pasta was awesome! I can not remember the last time I had a great time and felt super special at a restaurant. Ricky was our server and I was completely in awe of his skills and attentiveness. It was the best!

This was my wife and I first trip to New York. We were invited to make a very close friend's annual 4th of July trip and absolutely enjoyed it. My friend was always talking about Benjamin's and this awesome server Ricky, well I finally got to experience his awesomeness. Ricky was very professional but with a family like attitude. His... Ordered room service from Dylan hotel - a simple chicken ceaser salad - chicken was dry and tasteless, amount of romaine lettuce was less than the chicken, dressing "on the side" may have been in the little dish for a week. Just not worth the money they are charging for a meal.

We had our annual 4th of July trip to NYC and of course our group ALWAYS goes to Benjamin's Steakhouse during each trip. This year we had 9 at the table (a couple newbies) and we were once again treated as family. If you read reviews here about Benjamin's you have seen the name Ricky pop up a lot. There... More

If you like bone-in rib eye this place is hard to get away from. Cooked to perfection, my medium rare chop was screaming with flavor every bite. One of the friendliest bar staffs in the city was quick to pair my selection with a bold Super Tuscan that knocked me back in my bar stool, this place is as good... More

I have eaten at almost every steak house in NYC and Benjamin is the best. It can be a little expensive but definitely worth the pice

I live in Alberta Canada - the home of the best steaks anywhere in the world, so it's hard to meet my expectations - but Benjamin's did it tonight! My daughter and I came here for dinner tonight on the recommendation of our concierge at the Library Hotel. The restaurant is right across the street from the hotel, on E... More

If you love your steak then this is the place to go to! The serving size is huge. The porterhouse steak for one was more than enough for both of us. The meat was cooked perfectly - half well done and the other half medium to well done. I had the onion soup as a starter but was not the... More

This is a very classic restaurant with an old time feel. The wait staff was wonderful. The portions are very large, so I recommend sharing. Steak for one is enough for two people. They don't have a problem with patrons sharing, like some restaurants do. They split it in half and gave us two plates. The sides are extra. We... More
