The veggie lunch buffet is a great deal and I always stop at Tiffin when I'm in the city. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly.

The food here is mostly very good - if you are a novice to Indian food, you wont be disappointed - the selection is a good sampling of the vegetarian food that dominates South India. If you are an expert on South Indian food, you might notice that some of the spices have been toned down to suit a broader... More

Everytime we visit NYC our friends take us to Tiffin Wallah, where you can get a dosa as big as a baseball bat, or unlimited buffet to eat until you need to nap! The food tastes homemade, and there are plenty of nice south-indian options, which is wonderful. The sambar is great, and don't miss out on the delicious masala... More

There are tons of Indian restaurants on Lexington Avenue, but for me this one is a stand-out. We were initially supposed to goto Dhaba, but they put my name down in the waiting list and never bothered to call me back! We waited for 45 mins, gave up and decided to try this place instead, especially since they had a... More

One of the best in this Little India of a neighborhood. Their lunch is one of the biggest bargains in NYC. Very tasty and satisfying vegetarian Indian buffet--better than the others in the neighborhood in my experience. I was there having a relaxing lunch with my father who made the mistake of asking the owner how he can charge so... More

Just had the Alu Baigan but it seemed off from last month. Not enough spice and the recipe has definitely changed. Palak Paneer and assorted paratha are still great as well as the Baigan bathra. Definitely a great choice for a luncheon special for less than $10.

delicious vegetarian. could have been spicier. The service was good, and the buffet lets you eat all you want without spending a fortune.

Well made Dosa, vada, iddly in clean and comfortable surroundings. About $10 for a Dosa which is reasonable. Service was courteous and prompt.
