Description: Niles NYC is uniquely located in Manhattan's most accessible neighborhood, steps from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. Niles offers a sleek setting with a contemporary American menu for an entertaining meal from morning till late night. Our semi-private dining room is the perfect place to host your business luncheons and private parties, all tailored specifically to suit your event. Niles is not only a fresh, contemporary restaurant, it’s also a colorful and exciting bar that attracts plenty of locals as well as out-of-towners. Clean iridescent finishes accentuate a huge rectangular bar with seating all around, anchored by a lit-glass decorative column. You can generally count on a lively crowd here at Niles most every night—especially on concert and game nights at the Garden, when Niles often goes into overtime. Decided to try Niles Restaurant to grab a quick bite before attending a concert @ MSG. My expectations were not high as this place is adjacent to the Affinia Hotel -- and we all know how blah hotel restaurants can be... What a nice surprise! The bar was hopping with after-work types, but the dining room was much quieter and... More

The service was excellent. It really was. They are very attentive. The food was good, a 4 out of 5, but the staff is what was great. We were going to a concert at MSG, we were right on time, and we were happy. Nice job Niles.

Chose this place to have dinner before watching a concert at MSG. The ambiance was very chic. Even though it had a bar crowd, the noise levels at the dining area was no problem. Service was very good. My wife had the lamb chops with spinach on the side which turned out too salty to eat. When she asked to... More

I had breakfast at Niles and it was great. Food was delicious and on time. No long wait for it. I had a great omlet that was fantastic! Staff was great and service was awesome!

I have dined at Niles many times for business and during the previous flood we experienced in our apt. 2 years earlier. The staff was most welcoming and remembered us from several years earlier. I have lunched here with the former President of Saks Off Fifth and other VIP's. During my last stay at the Affinia I had a terrible experience... More

How convenient! Niles is right across the street from MSG and refreshingly NOT a sports bar rather it is sleek and sophisticated. The staff was welcoming and the menu reflective of an innovative chef. I had the shaved brussel sprouts salad to start- very tasty - followed by exquisitely fresh scallops. My dining partner was very pleased with the wild... More

Staying at the Affinia for 6 nights we had a couple of lovely breakfasts and a superb evening meal. The staff are all brilliant and the portions for our evening meal were huge and really tasty. The sea bass was excellent. The room is spacious - a plus in New York and spotlessly clean.

And were surprised that the food was good, not great but better than expected. Service was excellent. The restaurant serves all three meals and all the surfaces are hard, makes the place less than optimal for conversation.

Conor from Northern Ireland in the bar is very personable and friendly, and is a great bar man. Excellent Cosmos. A young Indian guy with glasses ( didn't get his name) gave us great service when we had dinner there. The food is good and well priced. Interesting wine array. $10 special lunch during the week in the bar, a... More

For a hotel restaurant, I was delightfully surprised and pleased to discover Niles. For business reasons, I find myself required to spend a few days each month in the Penn Station area, and almost all the eating establishments are poor quality chain and fast-food places. I've been to Niles three times -- both dinner evenings were great, with very good... More
