Quite possibly the worst steak experience of my life. I can't believe they charged me money for what they served. The chef is a joke.

Last Saturday my husband and I went to a Broadway show and then to Kobe’s. We have not been there before and decided to try it because their Restaurant Week’ menu was extended to the end of March and included Saturdays. As soon as we walked in we loved the ambiance. The decor is chic, modern and dark (night and... More

Amazing steak... the Wagyu beef is perfectly flavored and practically tender enough to cut with your fork. I tried only the Austrailian filet cut (which I heard is better than the Japanese and American cuts), but it was cooked to perfection. Really great atmosphere, trendy, romantic, good place to bring a date. Tuna Tartare was really good too. However, to... More

I ate at the one in Miami and I thought it was the best steak I ever had.

ahh... way too overrated. food wasn't in my level of "Good". Decor was interesting but no theme. If you are willing to pay for that price, I can gaurantee you can easily find other better restaurants.

Very overpriced for what you are getting. lighting a little dark for my taste and wait staff a tad impatient - yes, I'd like to finish my $300 kobe tasting menu, please. Much better kobe experience at Craftsteak.

I loved the ambience ,decor and everything from the kobe beef ravioli to the parmesan bread. Very pricey though. Be ready to spend your weekly paycheck easily!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
