Great taste- just stressful trying to get a seat!

Loved the burger but getting a seat was stressful, oh, and the 20 minute queue of course but other than that good. Lots of tables sitting waiting for food orders I'm sure it could be more efficient.

It's a dive burger joint. Not much to look at décor-wise and a very limited menu (burgers & fries only from my recollection), but the burgers (and fries) are fresh and fabulous. If you like burgers -- or even if you don't -- you're bound to love these.

This really is a clear demonstration of how keeping things simple can work well. The menu is very limited - vegetarians take out the burger, wheat intolerant don't have the bun! But this place has to be experienced, it feels very special and that you are going back in time. The food is good - as long as you like... More

We visited here just before the lunch time rush and we were not disappointed. The burgers are simple. Cheese or no cheese and a choice of a couple of toppings. The burger itself was tender and melted in the mouth. Absolutely delicious. Everything is cooked to order and we were served quickly. As we left, there were queues out through... More

It is not just the burger but the entire experince of finding the place - Moving from the classy hotel lobby to the streetkitchen-like hidden burgerjoint - that makes this place excellent. The burger itself was brilliant and I would recommend everyone to go here when in NYC.

The food is pure and simple, not prefabricated or over priced like many chains, it is cooked to order and served up with a piece of NYC culture, simple and straight to the point. Advice? Go for the double cheeseburger, suffer the agony of being full, you will not regret it!

Nice burger. Can get a similar burger in about 1000 bars in the midwest. Kind of funny seeing New Yorkers stand in line for an hour to get an average burger. Nothing one cannot find in Chicago, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Omaha, or dozens of other towns in the midwest.

Good burgers inside Parker Meridien. Once you go inside there is a hidden door that leads to it. Cool "in" location. By now it turned a bit touristy and is less of a novelty. Go for fun, but better burgers at Hillstone. And the sometimes very long waiting lines dont justify the quality.

If you're looking for a fancy place, or a burger that tastes good because of the sauce : please don't bother ! That place is amazing, authentic with a great atmosphere and the burgers are unreal ! It tastes so great I almost proposed to it ! If there is one place in NYC that reflects the city, it is... More

Had this placed raved about to me by hotel staff. Went. Place is tiny and packed. Not that I mind the atmosphere felt it was fun. Burger tasty but portion sizes were less than average, burger average, waiting staff poor/rude, table squeezed in so tight you have to get up in middle of your meal to let people in and... More
