Good burgers, fire trap

With only one entrance to this windowless room, I don't know how the NYFD has not shut this place down. But lucky for me, it stayed open at least one more day so that I could enjoy its greasy goodness. The burger was cooked perfect and yummy. The fries were okay. We happened to hit it right before... read more

I waited in line for 45 minutes and paid $15 for my burger and it was average! This is the type if burger if you paid $5 for at a street car you would be happy! Way over hyped, if you're time is limited in New York make sure this isn't the only burger you judge the city on because... More

We ate here twice on our last trip to NYC. It is our favorite burger joint in NYC. I am thrilled they finally take credit cards! We both got the cheeseburger, fries and a diet coke. We like the burgers medium-rare. They came out cooked perfectly. The fries are good and crispy. I ate way too many of them. This... More

We came on a recommendation and had high expectations after queuing. This tiny dark room certainly serves the burgers fast, the price was medium, the burgers Ok and the staff perfunctory. There is very limited seating to eat your burger out of a take away bag with second rate fries and and the whole lot was pretty soggy. Not a... More

For two years I dragged my wife around the city on a quest to find the best burger in the city. When I would tell people about our (my) hobby we would often get suggestions. The burger joint came highly recommended by close friends of ours. Up until their personal recommendation I had avoided it because it seemed like a... More

Just a well run and smart outfit. Burgers were tasty, reasonable and definitely worth the wait. Don't be put off by the q - it moves swiftly

If you're in a hurry or starving, please be mindful there is a HUGE line to get in. There is no guaranteed seating, and the ambiance is not elegant... think Frat House Rumpus Room. That all being said, the burgers and attitude are FANTASTIC! I love the sign that is on cardboard and is so hilarious. It basically puts humor... More

Call down from your room and take as a carryout order. Burger and fries were very good but i wouldn't wait 30-60 minutes for a table. Its just a little hole in the wall place.

hidden in a posh hotel this was the best burger we had in NYC. You have to time it right, otherwise you don't get a seat but wow...what a burger. staff not too chatty as they are rushing to get everyone fed. i recommend it to all my friends who visit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
