Cool speakeasy burger joint

Love the idea of this burger place! It's a burger shack hidden behind curtains in the main lobby of the Le Parker Meridien. Step inside and you're in a graffiti filled wood panelled burger joint with posters stuck over the walls. Lines can be very long in this place so come early if you want... read more

The burgers are just okay here. They are made to order, taste fresh and come out quickly. The toppings "the works" were also fresh and tasty. The fries were soggy and served in a bag so you get to see the grease. Maybe this is a great burger for NY city but there are much better burgers in any town... More

This special burger place is really worth a visit. Rustic surroundings even if the premises are in a luxury hotel. The food is good and the price is decent. Very quick delivery and if you want more food and drinks are served extremely fast. It's continuously someone to wait on tables. This is a place you eat quickly and leave.... More

The Burger Joint is actually in the hotel hidden behind a curtain ala The Wizard of Oz. I ordered from the room but there is no delivery - only pickup. Great, freshly ground burger cooked medium as I ordered. Bun was fresh, french fries golden and crunchy. Honestly I don't remember the price, but I don't remember it being as... More

We (my daughter and I) visited the Burger Joint on recommendation from friends Jan 2015. Felt intimidated and forced to make very quick decision on entering. I requested a medium cooked burger with all usual additions as well as fries and a sprite at a cost in excess of $US17. (Also left tip in tip jar on counter) The meal... More

Nice atmosphere, great place! Very small, but compensates on the food quality! Hamburger or cheese burger, simple like that!

My previous review recommended Astro Burger, around the corner from the Parker Meridien as the better burger. And it was, for years and years when I worked in the neighborhood. But I recently revisited Astro and I would no longer recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't go back to Meridien either so I have no solid suggestions as to where... More

Hidden inside the Parker Meridian. What a great burger, but don't tell anyone, too many people already know. The lines can be very low at lunchtime. Burgers and fries is all they have and don't be uncertain when it is your turn to order. Be ready to order your toppings or get out of the way.

Few friends recommended this place and we had to try it. Even with google maps was difficult to find but that made us more keen to try it. Really cool place, unique, good crowd. The burger was good, not the best but i think is more about the experience than the taste.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
