It really is one of the best burguers in NY. Very tastefull. Be prepared to wait in the line and order quickly, or you have to go to the end of the huge line. But everything is irrelevant, in face of this wonderful burguer. Fries and milkshake are also great. If you are in NY, and love a good burguer,... More

Took us a minute and a hotel employee to point out the entrance, but what a place. The atmosphere is awesome and hard to beat, especially given the hotel lobby outside. Simple place with simple burgers, a couple side choices and a couple drinks, but well done. Our burgers were large and delicious. Cooked just right. My beer was good... More

The place is located in the lobby of the Meridien Hotel. If you don't see where it is exactly, just spot the massive queue in the left corner of the hotel lobby. We were lucky because we only had to wait for about 15 minutes before getting a foot inside (in the meantime, take the "menu" for you to place... More

We had to queue about 30 min in the middle of the afternoon. The burger bar is nice and would be fun if you could just walk in. But the burgers are not THAT good that you really need to wait so long for it!

I love to take people from out of town to the Burger Joint. If you enter at 57th Street entrance you walk down a beautiful marble and mirrored hallway, very extravagant. Then when you turn the corner into the Burger Joint, you are transported into a basement-style hole-in-the-wall burger haven with fries, beers on tap, milkshakes and AMAZING DELICIOUS BURGERS.... It took two trips to New York to find out how to get food without being in a queue for ages.. Ring and order, then go to top of queue to pick up. Burgers and chips pleasant but not outstanding by New Zealand standards.

Kind of a tourist trap, at least on weekends. They use Arnold's hamburger buns, so nothing special there. The beef didn't taste very seasoned, though was quality meat. Fries were okay. It's really no better than Shake Shack, though a sort of neat experience if you are a tourist, I suppose.

To start, there are plenty of places you can eat in NYC, but the experience to me is just as important as the food itself. That is why you have to go, or I should say find this hidden gem. Do not, I repeat do not, just walk into the hotel and ask where the Burger Joint is. They will... More

It took a New Yorker to guide us to this place which looked like it should be on a college campus, not a fashionable hotel. Small, crowded, noisy, but good burgers and fries. Also only steps away from good jazz at the Rose club in the near by Plaza Hotel.

Not the cheapest but worth it. Very popular and each time the was a line outside the door. The meat is excellent quality.
