Excellent neighbour café with great menu & ambiance. The food was superb (so much that we visited twice in five days) and the service really attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

What a better way to have lunch in New York is to head to Café Cluny on the corner W12th Street & 4th Street in the Village. It is great place to meet friends, have a drink or two and enjoy an enjoyable lunch. They have a range of salads and other lunchy dishes you will enjoy eating. You will... More

Very cute little place that does a great brunch. The eggs benedict are one of the best in NYC and they do a great mint leaf tea. We usually try their juice of the day which is always a well thought out and tasty treat. Well worth a visit.

Great ambience; good, but pricey food; service varies. This pretty much sums it up: it's wonderful for feel, and their food is quite nice, but we did find it a bit overpriced. The Pris Fixe option, which gives you three courses for $35 is very good value, though. The wines are surprisingly good. Service very much depends on who you... More

One of my girlfriends recently took me here for dinner for my birthday. The ambiance is cute - Parisian feel - waiters and bartenders wearing stripped shirts etc. We had a small cramped table in the front. The food was average. I had the steak frites. I prefer both the steak and the fries at Raoul's. Service was average. I... More

This has long been on my "must visit" list and we were not disappointed. Went for a late dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. Nice staff, great food - the salmon was beautifully plated under "petals" of shaved heart of palm, and the tuna was amazing, wonderfully spicy and served with an unexpected tomato compote. We shared a traditional... More

Cafe Cluny is an oasis of service, good food and decent coffee. If you come from anywhere other than the USA you will know that getting healthy, tasty food and good coffee in the one location can be a struggle. Its a pleasure to come to a restaurant/cafe that treats food, coffee and its customers with respect ... among the... More

Think of spending it at Cluny. If you like a small, charming bistro with delicious food and friendly service, then wander on down to the West Village and treat yourselves to an evening here. It's filled with neighborhood regulars who love it like we do. Lots of dates, young people with parents visiting and friends who you can tell stop... More

We had a lovely brunch at café cluny with some friends from France, The restaurant had a bustling feel but the noise level was not overwhelming. The various specialty drinks were fun to consider and they delivered a well crafted grapefruit mimosa to me. The offerings were not overwhelming and were of a good variety. I would say that the...
