Tasty Food, Huge Portions

During our 10-day stay in New York, we had lunch here twice and dinner three times. We had the Pho Noodle Soup, Fried Shrimp Wontons, Pad Thai, Lemongrass Beef with Vegetables, Mixed Vegetables with Tofu, Fish Fillet and Teriyaki Cube Steak. The Pad Thai was tasty. I have eaten here several times before a Broadway show. They have a fixed priced lunch which is very reasonable, Portions are a good size, Good lunch with out having to pay exorbitant Broadway prices

Saw this as we were staying at the hotel, so we thought we'd give it ago. The meals are huge and quite tasty. We a noodle dish and a beef dish for mains, and also got some fried ice cream balls. Note about the ice cream balls: they are huge and you could easily share one with someone else. Great... More

We were able to get dinner and make our play easily from Saigon 48. The vegetarian pho was good, but did have a beef base. The spring rolls were very good. Tip: There is a second room that is in the hotel adjoining and can sometimes get you in quicker. Ask the hostess if the restaurant is crowded - It... More

we had a fine dinner, very fine. we especially loved the steamed salmon with ginger, scallion and a bit of soy sauce. some salty soy sauce to go with steamed fish, why did i never think of that?... but the chocolate mousse was frozen, which brought us back to reality. and automatically add 23% gratuity to the check? i'm sorry,... This is my 5th visit and each time the food is hot and delicious. Ideal pre-theatre. No rez needed and uber-quick service if you are running late to a show. Great back room for groups. We saw an all-Asian cast dining there after a show we saw one time and I often see many Asian diners as it is authentic... More

I ate here with some friends who live in Manhattan. It's a favorite restaurant of theirs. I really enjoyed it, though I had no idea what to order. Thankfully they ordered for us: lemongrass chicken, mango chicken, and shrimp pad thai (which was AWESOME). Staff was friendly and service was great!

I probably wouldn't go here again if I was ever in New York again. It felt like the staff were watching us the entire time. But the portions were huge and value for money.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
