Birthday dinner at Le Cirque

My husband took me to Le Cirque for my birthday and it was a really good dining experience. The service was attentive and most of the food was delicious. We took one of our customers to the restaurant. Informed them in a little in advance that we are entertaining a customer and we need attentive service. They lived up to it. The food was excellent, and overall, one of the best restaurants I have been to. Would take others clients there too. Hope they dont let me down. I... More

My husband reserved this dinner to celebrate our 10th anniversary and let the restaurant know that in advance. There was no acknowledgement of our anniversary until he said something after we ordered dessert. They proceed to run over with a happy anniversary creme brulee that was not cool, not warm, but HOT. Totally disgusting. The restaurant is beautiful, they have... More

Nice time - a bit of a stuffy atmosphere ... But the maître d was above and beyond amazing. Went for lunch would be fun to come at night when there is entertainment.

Nice restaurant with many outstanding menu choices. I opted for the degustation menu which was fantastic. Extensive wine list with a wide selection in terms of price and quality. Great upscale atmosphere, however the prices were surprisingly affordable. Service was impeccable!! I will definetely return many times.

Looking to impress a lady without spending a ton? Take her to Le Cirque late on a Wednesday night for a nightcap and crème brûlée and dance to the live jazz band—you wont even spend $50! And seriously, stick to the crème brûlée. By far the best thing on the dessert menu, it’s rich without being too heavy and perfect... More

This is a great restaurant, I've seen it in a few Hollywood movies. Food and service is first class, you have to have a jacket to eat here and you also can't remove it whilst eating.

Booked the restaurant for a solo dinner. I have the say the dining room looks very nice and fun. You'll immediately think and hope your food would be just as exciting, but it isn't. Don't get me wrong it's not bad but the rate I am giving reflects the quality and presentation of the food considering its prices. Suggestion: bring... More

A friend and I dined at Le Cirque last week for lunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful - spacious, quiet despite filling up for lunch, and has plenty of waiters ready to refill water as soon as you've taken a sip. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. I have a pretty serious carrot allergy, and despite asking the waiter whether my... More

Le Cirque always delivers an outstanding dining experience, year after year. The tartare and caviar was simply sublime, the red snapper crudo refreshing and delicious in its simplicity, and the rack of lamb just outstanding. We did't miss out on the legendary creme brulée, wich was accompanied by Marco Maccioni's personal history on the creation of this signature dish. Service very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
