lunch with my frriend, the fashionista

This is a quintessential NYC, high-end, mid-town establishment. The location is very central to almost everything, if not slightly East-of-everything, mid-town Manhattan ~ but there’s lots to bring you there. It’s surrounded by some big-name businesses and stores… no views, no attractions, no excitement (except the high-end customers ~ who can get pretty high-end !) and good (albeit slightly overrated)... I have always loved this restaurant but I was very disappointed May 13. The short tasting menu did not include rack of lamb. The longer tasting menu included it but it was too long for my appetite. There was a pate of fois gras but not the formerly superb sautéed fois I liked so much. The service was mediocre at... More

My husband spent a tremendous amount of money and I left not feeling full or satisfied with my meal.. Got the chef's tasting four course, very small portions; the only thing I liked was the fagotini, but they give you three pieces which is nothing.. The bass was just okay, I liked the one one my husband got from the... More

What a delicious Sole Meuniere, it brought back some memories of the rich buttery sauce from my Grand Mere. Thank you Cirque.

The "new" Le Cirque did not disappoint us. We had dine at the cafe. The atmosphere is casual. Patrons are attractive people. The food is first rated, and a very nice and clean restroom. Definitely a place that deserves multiple return trips.

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The service was impecable and not at all snooty as I was told to expect. Waiter even sold down the wine when what I selcted wasn't available (the wine i selected was $120, the one he suggested was $90 and was delightful) best Lamb chop ever and the... More

My husband took me to Le Cirque for my birthday and it was a really good dining experience. The service was attentive and most of the food was delicious. We had the four course meal which started with the foie gras confit ( my husband loved it) and the red snapper crudo ( very fresh sashimi grade red snapper with... More

We took one of our customers to the restaurant. Informed them in a little in advance that we are entertaining a customer and we need attentive service. They lived up to it. The food was excellent, and overall, one of the best restaurants I have been to. Would take others clients there too. Hope they dont let me down. I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
