Beautiful Restaurant, Excellent Service

This a restaurant that is very professional in terms of service and execution. We were there for "French Restaurant Week" and Maitre D made sure our experience was a great one. Food was very good but the passion fruit soufflé was simply divine - the best ever!

Classic mid-afternoon NYC lunch. Great service and food in a wonderful room. Staff was helpful describing the menu items and quick to suggest when we should order off the prix fixe menu vs. a la carte based on the choices we made.

Four friends made reservations for the famed Le Cirque during French restaurant week which listed a price of $38 dollars for a 3 course dinner with each course having 2 options. When we got there we were told the only choice for dinner was chicken. We decided to go a la carte with an appetizer, and entree each and shared... More

Dear Carol H, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your experience about the French Restaurant Week promotional menu was not up to five stars. We are very sad to hear you felt Le Cirque is a faded glory. We have participated in the French Restaurant Week promo for the first time. We were told to offer... More

Small portions rule the day at this restaurant. My wife and I had the 3 course meal and the portions were very small. My kid had a bowl of buttered pasta for $18 that amounted to more food than we had. The cost of that is another issue. Atmosphere was a bit worn and out of date. They say a... More

Dear Jiucer, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you like the taste of the food. We have passed your comment about the small portions in the restaurant week menu and we will make sure our portions are bigger next week. Was there a particular dish that you felt needed more? While Pittsburgh is not exactly around the corner... More

Recently dined here with a friend during restaurant week. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. It had a pretty impressive location being that is located in the Bloomberg building. The service was great from the time that we greeted by the host to our server. Food was great and we opted for the meal for two. I definitely... More

Le Cirque is participating in restaurant week so we decided to give it a try. The experience was fantastic. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding, particularly the Creme Brulee for dessert. The menu selection for restaurant week was a three course meal for $38 for dinner. There was a $10 extra charge for the hangar steak which... More

Loved the place. The service was very good. We all liked the black bass and I loved the salmon tartare. The wine "Le Sughere di Frassinello" was simply spectacular. Great place to dine after a shopping day with my daughters.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
