I was taken to lunch here with friends, and was unimpressed. The food was average at best, but the service was lacking as well. Once our luncheon plates were cleared, we waited 40 minutes for a dessert menu. Our coffee arrived 30 minutes after dessert. I wouldn't recommend it---overpriced, and resting on its laurels.

On a visit to NYC, we decided to go to Le Cirque and oh my God! This was one of the best food experience we ever had. The service and the atmosphere are great, you feel welcome and realise what an institution Le Cirque is for New Yorkers. The Food ? absolutely fantastic. We opted for the tasting menu and... More

Le Cirque is among the restaurant's landmark of NYC. The decor and the ambiance make it very special and cozy. I would recommend to go for a drink around 8pm them have the 5 stars dinner experience. If you go on Friday you will have even Gianni Russo singing. The menu is amazing. Try the white truffle dessert, this is... More

I go to le cirque once or twice every year and always have the same experience. The service is very good from start to midway through dinner and seems to decline when you ask for the check. It takes unbearably long for the check to the point where I'm asked at least twice if I want coffee or dessert. Getting... More

The service was fine and the room was beautiful but the food was a disappointment. Mine was fine but certainly not spectacular. Almost all of my wife's dishes were cold - it seemed that they were ready before mine and just sat waiting. I had the Chocolate Stove for dessert - this was the home of Jacques Torres. Te hidden... We had a drink at the bar first which was a little disappointing as the sever at the bar seemed a bit unprofessional joking with people who appeared to be his friends at the bar and even helping himself to their chips...not what I'd expect in a restaurant of this standard. The dining area was spacious and open. Would recommend... More

I was part of a large party with an age range of 14 years to 80 years that had the pleasure of dining at Le Cirque on 10/25/14. The whole party from young to old were blown away by the whole experience of Le Cirque. From the cocktails when we arrived, to the friendly efficient staff, fantastic ambiance, superb food... More

I was given the task of organising an 80th birthday party for my Mom in NYC. She lives in Ireland and I live in England. From the outset Mario and Raphael were most helpful in assisting me. On the evening - October 25th - there were 22 of us. Everyone raved about the food, describing it as 'exceptional', 'wonderful tasting',... More

My wife and I went to Le Cirque this past weekend. Overall, we had a good but not exceptional meal. First, the space is great .. open and relaxing. Service wise, our waitress was fine but didn't have the feel of a professional type waiter which we appreciate when looking for fine dining. For instance, I asked for an extra... More
