We were visiting New York in July and the hotel concierge recommended we go to 2nd Ave and we would find lots of places to eat. We stumbled upon this restaurant and ordered their bruschetta and then their lasagna. Oh my goodness!!! One of the bet lasagnas we have had in a long time! Topped of with the perfectly made... More

Food was very yummy. I got waffles w. some fresh fruit & whipped cream. Our server was not the most attentive. We were a group of 6 & some of our glasses would sit empty for 10-15 minutes before getting a refiil. One of our water glasses had something floating in it & there was something gross on my fork.... Very Accommodating. Warm, friendly and inviting. Changed tables for a group of five and walked us in through the kitchen to reach the open tables outdoors on 20th St. and 8th Ave. Saturday nite, late evening dining out experience. Offer gluten free dining on the menu with a GF penne pasta Jambalaya dish. The Manager, Rubin, rescued our meal as... More

Wonderful affordable brunch with a bottomless Bellini option... Need I say more? Ok, the staff was fantastic! The food was delicious! And the waiter just kept coming with more Bellini's! I highly recommend this great find!

Fantastic meal. Especially liked the seasonal food. Always something different. You will need to book. It is very popular but worth the trip.

We went there on a romantic date and it didn't dissapoint. The ambiance is perfect for that kind of thing. It is a small and cozy restaurant, with candles and flowers on the table. Well... the tables and kind of small and the space for your chair is small too, but that was the only problem. The staff was incredibly... More

Craving italian, we found this spot online. I was a bit jealous of my husband's choice, the veal lasagna was phenomenal. My chicken marsala was ok. Thin sauce was good but not what I had in mind, likewise, paired with plain penne and marinara sauce was pretty boring. Would return again though to have the lasagna for sure. Nothing special... We decided to try this after seeing it on TV prior to a MSG visit. It was quiet on a Tuesday night and the staff was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in us. I had a make your own combo lasagna and my wife had the spinach lasagna. Both were very good. Was it the best lasagna I've ever had?... More

We came with our kids and enjoyed a fabolous minestrone soup, delicious lasagna, great pastas and a fig ice-cream for dessert. We felt Italy in NYC.
