An Italian Menue like only a few in Manhattan, recommend, but a bit on the steep side financially

enjoyed the visit with a smart and great explanations giving staff on whats on the Menue. ist actually quite a nice italian menue, with a few very typical dishes you can get in Rome, too and which taste similar. ice cream at the backend was a bit too soft but optherwise a nice lunch

We dined at A Voce on Madison and 26th. I had the ricotta with petite vegetables, which looked and tasted much better than it sounds. I also had the orecchiette with rabbit ragu, which I loved. JJ had Bronzino. A nice bread plate also is provided and the service is fine. There are a lot of interesting items on the... More

I was a little put off by the location, 3rd floor in a Mall, a high end mall though. The service was good and the menu was interesting. It is New York so it is not going to be the best value for fine dinning. The beet salad and pork tenderloin were very good.

Very over priced. Pathetic food. I had read about their great Florentine steak - what a sham a tasteless piece of beef. ( 10 times better at Lugers or Wolfgangs). Not what you get in Florence. The balance of the food was just as mediocre-salad,pasta. Best part was desert. The atmosphere is stark and off-putting. Don't go-I won't go back.... More

Two girlfriends and I had a long needed evening out and one had visited the sister restaurant at Columbus Circle so it was a natural to come here. It's a lovely place and the staff was friendly. Our waiter was delightful and kind. He asked if we wished to have to sommelier help us and we said no. As we... More

Atmosphere, service, menu variety and quality of the food were all top notch. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. I recommend you try the burrata, it's great, as was the spaghetti with wild boar ragu. Desserts were also beautiful and delicious. Just the right portion sizes too. I will be back and highly recommend it.

It was a very good meal but not great. The service was okay. The coordination poor. It seemed very crowded and packed. The food had some deficiencies

The restaurant was a little quite on this very cold night in NYC, but the crowd looked like they were locals. I had one of the best burratta's I have ever had. I was told it was made in house. It had an interesting twist with cranberries and pistachios. It was delicious. The mushroom and egg dish was also wonderful.... More

The staff at A Voce were exceptional, pulling the chair out for us and taking care of every detail. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Our only constructive comment is that our waiter spoke very rapidly with a heavy accent and even after asking him to slow down a few times, it continued to be a... More

We were in New York on honeymoon and were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. We were not disappointed. It was probably one of the best meals we have ever had. Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
