The food was disappointing and nothing special. There was no service. We had the feeling something was amiss with the waitstaff when we arrived at 12:45 pm. The spanakopita was not hot and the poached eggs with crabmeat and bearnaise sauce sounded better than it tasted! The bearnaise sauce truly had no taste. Drinks took forever which is difficult to... I went here as a guest of friends so can't really complain but the food didn't strike me as special. Fairly standard fare for a Greek restaurant. Prices seemed a little high but given its location that was not a surprise. Would go back if someone else pays.

Had a business lunch there last week. Food was very good and I thought that the prix fixe menu was quite good value, in that it was three course for much the same price as a regular main course.

Service was good on the front end and slow trying to get the check. The whole roasted fish was delicious. The restaurant gave you the feel of being somewhere in Italy or Greece.

Kellari Taverna was a delicious greek treat and the service efficiently got us to our play on time. I ordered the grilled octopus and it came out perfectly cooked and deliciously prepared. My son ordered the spanakopita which had more spinach than usual and he cleaned his plate too. I would recommend this restaurant for a variety of flavors. Make... More

Sadly, I found my latest visit to Kellari to be surprisingly average. It still has a nice vibe, but may be a little tired vs. it's formative competition (Milos, Ammos, Pylos, etc.). My food was on the tepid side and I actually sent one dish back as it seemed to have been sitting too long before serving. Service remains excellent... More

This was a location for a business dinner with pre-set dinner for a group about 50 conference attendees and everyone enjoyed the food and service with no complaints. Their food was excellent with a nice ambiance for a classy Greek food restaurant. Nice selection of fish, chicken and other options as well as nice selection of wines. The food, the... More

Filet of snapper grilled was Just OK. No flavor, a bit bony. Vegetables were soggy and bread was cold and hard. Wine list was good. They don't know how to make a martini and didn't wish to know either. Very expensive for the quality.

Every now and then, my wife and I try a new place to eat and get lucky with the food being better than expected. It's very rare that the food, the service, and the attention from the mgr./owner is better than expected. Recently, we were fortunate to experience a very special evening at Kellari Taverna. It was our final night... More
