We stopped in for a light snack and drinks after a show, so we sat at the bar. The bartender Erik was very personable and kept our wine flowing. The Greek soup and salad was tasty and very authentic and the personal attention we received from the Executive Chef was much appreciated. He sent us an Octopus appetizer that was... More

This is not our first time at Kellari restaurant and not the last. We were running late for 8:00pm show and our waiter did everything he could to make our dinner strees free and enjoyable. The grilled octopus salad is still the best, the Mediterranean fish is delicious. The cheese, olives and homemade hummus are compliments from the restaurant to... More

Service, food and ambiance. It was refreshing to go to a mid-town restaurant that was comfortable, authentic, good service, and delicious Greek food. We were in town for a visit with my in-laws and sister-in-law (always stressful) with lots of demands on food needs. Walking distance to theatres, reasonably quite, good options, good ingredients, good service. My husband likes to... More

Stopped by this restaurant after work one night with a business colleague. It was jammed! We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere of the restaurant - it was much larger than it looks from the outside, but the decor was charming and warm. We were seated right next to the hostess stand which was kind of a pain, and service... More

We took our parents to New York as a surprise trip for their 45 wedding anniversary. They're originally from Naxos and while they enjoy the occasional meal out, they prefer to cook Greek food at home. My parents' standards are high, and they detest bad Greek food (you'll never catch my dad with souvlaki that wasn't marinated and cooked by... More

Met for cocktails and appetizers with my Lean In Circle (professional group) and had the most delicious spanakopita. Cocktails were well poured and the wine selection was vast. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. This is a great venue for groups or even date night. Also, it is easy to get to in that it is close walk to Grand... More

I liked all of the seafood selections. I had a risotto with mussels, clams, shrimp and fish in it. Very tasty and good portions.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday and ordered off the weekend brunch menu. My wife had eggs Benedict with a lump crab meat, Avga Cheasapeak, perfectly prepared with a generous portion of crabmeat accompanied by potatoes. I ordered a crab cake burger, Kavouri Burger. While the crab cake was among the best I have ever eaten, the dish is... More
