Steak!!!! Wagyu Beef!!!! Go and Eat it.

I know that Morimoto sounds more like a Japanese and Sushi/seafood type of a place, it has that and more. But you will be missing a lot if you don't try th steak!!!. I had dinner here with my wife and two kids (10 year old son and 13 year old daughter). The restaurant is expensive, but worth every dollar. The food is top-notch and very flavorful; the service is even better. The sushi rice and pork belly are to die for. Neither are on the menu, but available. I would definitely eat... More

This place is fantastic. Yes it is pricey but the food and attention to detail makes it all worthwhile. I recommend the tasting option which weighs in at about 8 dishes and gives you a selection of some of the best dishes at that time. The menu changes daily so each time you visit is a different experience.

It's a beautiful restaurant with great food. Came here for dinner and it was everything I had hoped for. The decor is really nice on the main floor and downstairs where the bathrooms are. Our waiter was very attentive and considering the amount of people in the restaurant, the food arrived pretty fast. Everything we ordered was fresh and looked... More

Took my boyfriend for his birthday since he is his favorite chef. We were not disappointed. We took the taster menu and loved certain dishes so much we had seconds. If you have to try one restaurant in New York and have a good budget, splurge.

Great food, staff, and atmosphere. I had the tuna carpaccio appetizer and it was amazing! My husband had the sushi combo. It came with a great array of sides, tasty and attractive. The bathrooms are stunning as well ;)

Visited Morimoto for lunch during New York restaurant week in August 2015. Food, service and ambience was excellent. Located at the entrance to Chelsea market and near the High Line. Definitely work a visit.

Memorable scene restaurant with inventive Japanese choices. On my second visit here with family during a business trip, I found there to be a little too much going on with each plate, and all dishes over salted. We appreciated their making a vegetable tempura appetizer for us off the menu, and I give the four gras and eel appetizer five... More

make your reservations its a challenge to get in but worth your efforts, fabulous sushi, fresh, delicate, innovative and worth the price. Great bar, sake, wine selection, a little noisy but then again this is the trendiest place in NY, love it can't wait to be back

We decided to go as part of restaurant week. It was a good deal - $25 for a lunch set and dessert. We had the cod and sushi sets, both were delicious! Also tried the matcha frappe ($7), but that was not that tasty.
