Don’t let them sit you in any of the two small rooms at the left and right of the entrance. While the main dinning room is very nicely decorated and still looks like new, these two smaller rooms are very plain and look run down (the “white” walls are not white any more). Lovely room, fabulous sushi bar in both looks and staff, very innovative Japanese menu for other choices, and some of the best sushi outside of Japan. My wife and I dined here while on vacation in NYC. We just did sushi, so can't comment on the entree items, though other patrons seemed happy. We ordered maki rolls: ell, spicy tuna, soft shell crab, and salmon. All were well prepared and the fish was of high quality. We had the calamari salad, as recommended by our server.... more

the sushi was very good but no better than many other Japanese restaurants in NYC. This is all about the experience of the place. Great date night place to impress more
