I've stopped by at MUD to have some late breakfast. There is a seating area inside - bar or tables, and there is a nice inner courtyard / terrace. They serve brunch whole day long. Prices are reasonable. The menu is very good - granola with fruits, oatmeal, huevos rancheros, eggs any style, banana pancakes with fruits. I had a... More

We love to come to Mudspot when we get to NYC. In the winter it is cozy and in the summer you can sit on the patio and enjoy. The coffee is the best in the city. Luckily, we have always had Little Greg as our waiter. Our breakfast (or lunch) is always incredible. I only enjoy my eggs when... More

Mud is tough to find and I missed it even when looking. Great thick serious coffee! Not messing around with that breakfast blend stuff - this Is the real deal. All of the servers were very friendly p. food was good and like I said - we drank a lot of coffee and I ordered some grounds online that I... More

Eating in East Village in New York is such a challenge because there are just so many choices! But MudSpot Cafe is one of he best finds! Service is quick and friendly... Breakfast reminds me of breakfasts in and around the San Francisco Bay Area- down home taste, large portions, and great local feel.... My favorite? Their French Toast topped... More

I love this place for breakfast. Tonight we stopped in for a glass of wine after dinner and for an extended visit with family. Great music and service provided a nice end to the evening.

I absolutely love all of their lattes and chais. They also have a great brunch deal that comes with a huge entree and a mimosa.

We had a great brunch there last Sunday. Its a small place but completely unpretentious. Food is excellent and despite previous comments good value. The staff make it with their friendliness and humour. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for something different .

We're a fan of the Mud Truck, so we thought we'd try out it's affiliated restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. It was somewhat of a disappointing experience. After a wait, we squeezed through a narrow passageway in front of the bar to be seated at a 2-top right next to another 2-top. We're not from NYC, so we're not... More
