Tasty, large servings, good service

We sat upstairs and the service was quite good. Portions are extremely large -- the next time we eat here we'll plan to share plates. No one in our party could finish their entree, and we didn't even have appetizers. The sangria was outstanding. There's a happy hour that covers many drinks... read more

What a fabulous atmosphere of Old Havana! Decor done tastefully. Speaking of taste...the empanadas to-die-for! Food & cocktails are fabulous!

I know it's located in the theater district so expected prices to be higher. But taking that into account, it still seemed overpriced to me. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce with saffron rice, along with a chicken empanada. They only gave you a few shrimp (less than 10). The food was tasty enough if you're hungry but considering... More

We've had Cuban food before and we're looking forward to the empanadas. They were okay at best. Biggest disappointment was that while food was served quickly, drinks were not. We didn't receive our beverage till after appetizer was consumed. Recommend splitting entrees - portions are too large for one person. Saw most patrons carrying out a "leftover" bag.

Had the pineapple chicken was worst meal ever. Boiled tasteless chicken on a plate with pineapple. All our dinners were bland needed to put tons of salt on the meal to make it edible. Stay away from this tourist trap.

I went here for my birthday dinner with my sons. We like to dine early and whenv we got there the restaurant was just filling up. I had made reservations and they were waiting for us. The signature cocktail- The Ultimate Pina Colada was great. The appetizers and the main courses were just right and the desserts were divine. I... More

We picked this place kinda at random for a change of pace. The Atmosphere was a kind of loud cantina. They had a live band playing Latin(Cuban?) music, they were good. The Food was good , we shared a Plantain appetizer. My GF had a Shredded beef entree, although not the one she ordered, it was tasty. I had the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
