Description: Abboccato, meaning “a touch of sweetness,” will feature a menu that reflects the true appetites of Italy. Owned by The Livanos Family, Abboccato will provide a taste and experience similar to that of authentic restaurants in Italy. Anyone looking for that unique Italian flavor will find themselves at home when dining at Abboccato. The 75-seat restaurant serves true and time-honored Italian recipes elevated through the talent and techniques of executive chef Jim Botsacos, and features a multitude of Italian products and ingredients. Abboccato offers a selection of Chiccetti, small plates for sharing, which encourage a lively dining experience. Plentiful pasta fill out the Primi Piatti options and fresh Artic Char, Lamb Chops, Whole Branzino and even Veal Sweetbreads make up the savory Secondi Piatti list. In addition to the savory Italian cuisine, Abboccato’s dessert menu allows diners to end their meal as elegantly as they started it.

We dined at Abboccato recently while visiting NYC, and we would go back in a nanosecond. The ravioli with gorgonzola and pumpkin was amazing! They have a great selection of wine too, making this place one of our favorites anytime we are in town.

The lamb chop was so tender, and very delicious. We almost ordered another, just because it was that good! Their infused drinks are unusual & do not lack on alcohol! The homemade bread sticks they serve before dinner are fabulous too. We also had the baby chicken, and it was very moist and lots of flavor. Not a bad choice... More

We went to this restaurant on the advice of our hotel staff and were expecting an okay meal. We were one of the last people to go in before the kitchen closed. The small plates were great, good choices of wine, and the ravioli was excellent. Definitely would recommend.

I don't want to give a laundry list of the terrible incidents that greeted us at Sunday breakfast. I have written several reviews for Trip Advisor and this time I can only say DISASTER and AVOID. No concept of organization, professionalism or service. Just one example: after fifteen minute wait I stopped someone and asked for a menu. She answered... More

The concierge in our hotel recommended this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The food, staff, ambiance and location are all perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We weren't rushed and the portion sizes were perfect.

From the start to desert, this was a first class dining experience. Very good wine list, and the homemade pastas were exquisite. Couldn't believe the place was empty but the NFL playoffs were on and the play across the street was a bomb so no traffic from there. Located in the Blakely hotel. A real find for midtown!
