Went in because of restaurant week deal and proximity to hotel. Hosted two young friends who don't eat out too much because of NYC prices. Expected "a nice meal" and had an incredible one. Our server was so helpful - recommended the far less expensive bottle of wine of the two I picked, and it was excellent. We all loved... More

Good restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, professional and courteous service, delicious food. We were with friends, drank a good Italian wine , all the dishes we ordered were tasting, the price is quite expensive, an average of 100$ a pair, but it was very enjoyable and worth it.

very convinient place for pre-theater dinner , just across from NYC center theater! Quite fast service , and quite decent food. Not fancy, smart casual.

Honored reservations, delicious food, lamb chops and grilled veal chop, very attentive wait staff-don't look for too much more, you won't find it.

The Pappardelle with roasted porcini cream and truffle was spectacular. So was the Stripe Bass. But my husband and I ordered the six course tasting menu, and the cheese balls (I think from Roquefort cheese) and meat sauce were extremely salty, to the extent we could not eat them. I informed the waiter about the problem, only to get the... More

We had the breakfast buffet which was included in our reservation, but guests could also order from the menu. The buffet was average but the a la carte breakfasts looked very nice. A little on the tight side at breakfast. Other times of the day are probably a little more relzaxed.

Nice location, a bit dated interior, friendly reception, semi comfortable "booth type " seating for two. Nice menu selection for both, starters to share, appetizers, salsda and main course, accompanied by good wine selection. Service, whilst friendly and attentive is a bit of a mix. Asking to order a drink, was served one I didn't order. Ordering appetizers, got one... More

After eating at a restaurant twice the price and less than half as good the night before, this visit made up for our earlier disappointment. We hadn't heard anything about it, but went for the menu items. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was not only cooked to perfection, but served beautifully.

This restaurant was near the hotel we usually stay at so we gave it a try. Very pretty decor and good service. Restaurant was empty which said something. The food was edible but not on par with the prices charged. Wonder where the chefs were trained if at all. No presentation - food dumped on the plate. Taste just overdone... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
