Executive Chef David Arias serves up regional dishes featuring ten varieties of handmade pasta, a selection of shared-plates, and an approachable six-course chef's tasting menu. To accompany the meal, guests can enjoy Italian wines and cocktails featuring traditional Italian spirits and modern preparations, including herb and fruit-infused ice cubes. While staying in the Blakely hotel we had breakfast here, since it was included in our rate. We most likely would not have chosen it if it was not included, but it was convenient on a very cold morning - as you can enter from the hotel lobby. It was a very average continental buffet breakfast, but to be fair,... More

Abboccato is at once both; intimate and convenient and comfortable and sophisticate. The menu is varied and the wine list very good. I have been going there for years, the only miss this recent lunch was the service. Our waiter was inexperienced and continually interrupted my business lunch by question and clarifications. However, my pasta was wonderful.

Prior to seeing Alvin Ailey at the NY City Center we had a wonderful lunch right across the street. Warm atmosphere, very courteous employees and the food was super fresh and perfect proportions for lunch. The price was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend and love to go back myself. I enjoyed a mixed seafood salad and mom had a... More

Wow where to start. Had been looking forward all day to a big bowl of creamy pasta. This place looked nice enough from outside. Our coats were taken at the door, it was snow/raining outside so we were glad to lose wet coats for a while. We were shown to a very dark table. We asked to be moved to... More

The space is quiet enough to have a conversation and the service is competent but, I've been there twice and the food is very disappointing. My friend had the pasta Bolognese, which was swimming in oil. Inedible. I had another pasta dish - red onion and tiny pieces of uncooked bacon - sounded good, but tasted awful. If you're going... We visited them during happy hours. They call it an Italian restaurant, but Italians would deny any connection. The bruscetta was served cold, and after sending it back, they served the next one cold as well. The food was below average.

When going to Carnegie Hall, Abboccato is the venue for a pre concert treat for yourself and guest. The service, food are exceptional. The staff takes pleasure in their work both on the floor and in the kitchen. Everything is prepared, cooked and server to continual high standards. The ambience here is pleasurable and you have the feel of an... More

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated near the back. Further at the back was a table of four. And then another visitor appeared, small and grey and moving rapidly.... I saw him first out of the corner of my eye running towards the table of four. They finally saw him and called over the waiter who called the... More
