Excellent food and wonderful service. While the atmosphere and decor left a bit to be desired, the food made up for it! Don't miss the red cabbage salad -- outstandingly simple but very flavorful -- schnitzel and absolutely save room for dessert! I highly recommend the kaiserschmarrn w/ apple sauce -- it will melt in your mouth! more

How hard can Weinerschnitzel be to make? It's breaded veal. Well, at Blaue Gans it's like eating cardboard. Don't order it. Get the fish, get anything else but just not the "signature" dish.
