I've eaten here over several years maybe 5 times. The food and service was very good (as always) but I think they must have really jacked the prices up recently. It is not often I receive the bill and have to ask "is this for the table or my share?" ... sadly it was the latter!

Tonight I had an unpleasant experience at Nobu. After arriving at 10pm to meet colleagues for a client dinner, I was greeted by Briana and her team. Unsure of the reservation name, my boss and I were politely invited to check our coats and look upstairs for our party - unsure of what name the reservation was under or whether... More

Having visited Nobu 57 before we were expecting so much more... this trip was disappointing. The food was of good quality - we always select the Chefs tasting menu and what I dont understand is why the desert is always the same thing! Chocolate melt in the middle pudding and green tea ice cream... This is what we have had... More

This is one of the best restaurants in NYC. The food is amazing and the service is unparalleled. My wife ordered Saki and was uncertain about whether she liked it and our waiter said,

That's how good it is! Ask for the bar and watch the regulars, you can ask for dishes out of the menu. Food is fantastic, ambience and decor exactly what one expects in a top Manhattan restaurant and prices are amazingly reasonable! Don't miss the live scallop! We'll be back

Went to Nobu 57 for lunch just before we left NYC to go back home and had a great time. The cucumber martinis I had were excellent and my wife and sister-in-law said the grapefruit versions were even better (I don't like grapefruit so can't judge!). The Wagyu beef is (very) expensive but it is amazing, worth ordering a small... More

My wife and I had an early lunch on a Saturday while visiting the Museum of Modern Art just three blocks away. Nobu can best be described as "Asian Fusion Tappas". While you can order complete meals sharing is more fun and we had five items ranging from yellowtail sashimi to roast eggplant to miso-infused black cod and it was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
