I was in New York for two nights and went to Nobu 57 both nights. If I was there for a third, I would have happily gone back again. The shashimi salad and black cod Miso, two Nobu specialties were perfect. The spicy tuna crispy rice and the yellowtail jalepeno are both perfection on a plate. Not to be missed.

The food was unquestionably very fresh and tasted good but not particularly extraordinary or innovative. In addition, the atmosphere and overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. It is DARK . . . like eating in a cave dark and we couldn't help but get the feeling that they were just churning people in and out as fast as... More

Have you perhaps been shopping during the whole day and you are starving? Well, Nobu 57 is just steps away from 5th Avenue and is an excellent choice. The restaurant is, as always, elegant and very welcoming with a friendly staff. We arrived quite early, the restaurant, which is on the upper floor, was still closed (yes we were escaping... More

we went there after seeing a musical and at 10:30pm the place was packed. Being hard of hearing it was tough to hear my friends conversation, but the interior was so fabuous it almost didn't matter. Our friend asked the waiter to pick several courses for us and we ate like royalty. It was all just delicious and interesting

Nobu 57 was "Nice" nothing more and nothing less. Everything that we were given was nice but the Black Cod was exceptional. The service was first class and the food was good only issue with me was i don't know enough about Sushi too order from there menu as theres no description. Our server picked for us and it was... I have had the opportunity to travel all over and Nobu is hands down on of my top 10 restaurants (ex. $250/plate stops). Although you need to order a lot of dished to satisfy an american appetite, Nobu has grown to become known for the quality and freshness of their fish. As first-timers we ordered the Tempura Dinner (salad, miso... More

My wife and adult son were looking forward to having a dining experience at Nobu 57 and hoped that it would be memorable. Unfortunately, it was the biggest hype, let down and biggest rip off I've ever experienced. Each appetizer we ordered, Blue Fin Toro tartar, miso glazed cod, spicey popcorn shrimp, hamachi tartar, were priced btwn $24-32. Each piece,not... More

I have been to 2 other nobu's (London and TriBeCa) and this was as good a meal as they were. We got both versions of their bento boxes and they were both great. Not sure of the difference between them is worth the extra money but it was lovely. Really enjoyed the lunch though and this was a fitting end... More

YOU CAN COUNT ON THE EXPERIENCE always being great. Service and food are terrific. We order 8 or 9 things that are brought sequentially. We share..........makes for a wonderful 2 hour evening. We had lamb chops last night for the first time and they were as tender as butter. Have the Santori desert in a cup...outrageous. Best is the senior... More

You can translate Nobu 57 as very good food combined with great service and cool interior. I can not find much negative things to say about Nobu except maybe the sushi part. It is good but I had higher expectations for sushi as well and it was not the best I got. So if I were you, I would order... More
