Not bad but also nothing extraordinary. Just your average sushi restaurant. Nothing more nothing less. Had average miso soup, average typical seaweed salad, average tiger prawns.

This is the second time we have been and we really thought we were not in the same restaurant. The food appeared to prepared ahead of time and other than the sushi roll, uneventful. Just average and now not worth the prices or going back.

I think that some of the dishes we had were absolutely perfect, my friends like the miso cod and the miso seabass (a special that night). Lobster tacos were good. The dragon roll was different than I am used to, however, it was tasty but not justifying the price. We were lucky we came early and had the dinning room... More

I went to Koi expecting to order sushi. Instead I ordered the most delicious lamb chops I have ever had. They were served over mashed potatoes - something I usually don't like - and could have licked the plate. Lots of sushi ordered by others at our table and everyone raved. Koi is like being in an Asian rice field.... More

I've been to Koi twice now and have enjoyed it immensely. Right off Bryant Park, the location is great for post show dining or before making the train at Grand Central. Crispy rice is a must, as is the lobster tacos. Everything is tasty and beautifully presented. Great service and festive atmosphere.

We wandered over to Bryant Park for some ice skating after seeing Matilda on Broadway, and then went onto Koi for dinner. Very good choice. Has something for everyone with a Asian fushion theme. The crispy rice and tuna that my son had was fantastic, as were my lobster taco's. The sea bass was great and I had a very... More

Visited for lunch and it was a good experience. The food was a little slow appearing, but when it did come, it was absolutely delicious (I had sea bass). Prices are towards the expensive end of the expected range, so be prepared!

Consistently excellent food and service in a great mid town location for this outstanding asian fusion restaurant. Small tapas style portions make it a great place with friends. Only negative is the noise level.

We recently dined at Koi while staying at the Bryant Park Hotel(Koi is in the building). The restaurant is Asian Fusion featuring sushi and a mix of small and larger plates. Although we did not have any sushi, we had three smaller plates to share and a larger one for my wife and I. The three small plates were their... More

We visited Koi during a girlfriends' trip to NYC. We were looking for a good sushi restaurant for a light bite before seeing a show and we found it. We arrived a few minutes before they opened at 5:30 without reservations and were seated within a few minutes of our arrival. The staff was attentive and prompt, and the decor... More
