Rich earth tones of orange, red and brown impart warmth to the cool and tranquil space. Thin tapestries of translucent rose fabric are embellished with flame motifs and suspended from the ceiling, creating a separate seating area perfect for a light bite near the large front windows. Famous for its unique and mouth-watering interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

I visit NY at least once a year and alway go to Koi. As usual it did not disappoint. It's busy and a bit noisy with a buzzing atmosphere, the food is excellent, Asian Fusion and very creative. The service is very good and attentive. Go here for a fun night with friends, not a romantic destination.

It has been my favorite chic sushi place in ton but was recently disappointed with overall quality. I think food seemed to have lost the zestiness and also quality of both the maitre'di as well as overall staff was tad bit underwhelming. Maybe I have been spoiled by their quality in the past but would given a choice I will... More

As a frequent guest at the Bryant Park Hotel, Koi has become a go to spot when a special dinner is in order. On our recent trip we decided to once again enjoy Koi as part of our NY experience. As always, the food was amazing, and this time we really enjoyed being seated in a booth near the windows.... More

So far this has been another great experience in Asian fusion restaurant. The place is cozy and nice atmosphere for dinner , but I would say that the one in soho looks better for lunch time. The waiter we had was really helpful. About the food i can say that everything was quite good, but my favorite were some of... More

In the heart of Midtown, an elegant Japanese restaurant. Refined , tasty cuisine , with signature rolls. Quite pricey, particularly the wine. A good choice for a special occasion. Better to book in advance.

We were staying at the Bryant Park Hotel & were told to head to Koi for excellent Japanese food. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and did not get seated til 7:50pm which wouldnt have been a big deal but we had our 18 month old daughter who has a short window for meals and patience. Once we were seated... More

Heard a lot about how great the food was suppose to be at this place, so we decided to have our nye dinner here. Tried a lot of other top asian fusion restaurants around the world, and I have to say I was quite disappointed about this one. The only dish I would recommend is the crispy rice, which also... More

The restaurant is visually beautiful and the waitstaff very pleasant and helpful. There were four of us for dinner and we ordered several of their specialties to share. Each plate that came out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and so delicious. I would recommend the cod and the lobster tacos.

Between the service and food - Koi is one of my favorite. It is a larger restaurant so it has an open feel. The food is high quality - Don't miss the Lobster tacos or the Spicy Shrimp hand roll and for dessert the coconut rice pudding brulee is superb. The specialty drinks are also exceptional. My favorite is the... More
