This is a pretty restaurant in a beautiful building, with beautifully presented food. The sushi was delicious, as was the seared salmon. It was a little too slow getting seated (we had reservations) and getting our order in, requiring us to cancel the appetizers we had hoped to have, since we were rushing to the theater. Otherwise, it was great.

Not only is the food fantastic here (try the Chili Shrimp Roll!) but the staff is really very warm and inviting. The atmosphere is very nice and it is usually buzzing. I just LOVE this place!

First time at Koi this past Thursday night. Had an early reservation, but despite the early hour the restaurant quickly filled, and was really humming by the time we left. Food is excellent and creative in both the combination of ingredients and presentation. The decor is of the best New York cool. Tables are close together, but that just sort... More

We went to this restaurant on the advice of local people. We were so surprised by the quality and the taste of the food. A large range of japanese food is available. I have fallen for the "Sweet Chili Shrimp Roll" served with its spicy sauce ; so tasty ! The best table to be seated is the bar. You... More

The food was decent but my pet peeve is slow service. Took a while to get greeted but even longer to pay. It honestly took about 10 minutes of sitting there to even get the check.

Koi's sushi is fresh and very well made. The drinks are good, the service was great, and they were really accommodating. The appetizers are really good (we had edamame and these spicy tuna things) and the food came out really fast. Would come back.
