Rich earth tones of orange, red and brown impart warmth to the cool and tranquil space. Thin tapestries of translucent rose fabric are embellished with flame motifs and suspended from the ceiling, creating a separate seating area perfect for a light bite near the large front windows. Famous for its unique and mouth-watering interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

Amazing!

We had a brilliant time here. The food and service was outstanding. The cocktails were also delicious! It is pricey but well worth the money!

This place has been packed every time I've been so that must say something. A bit noisy but that lends to the atmosphere. The sushi is about as good as you'll get anywhere. Not cheap (even for New York City) but top quality.

The restaurant itself is not particularly inspiring. It has small tables, similar to what you'd find in Starbucks, all very close together and it was quite noisy. They claim that's it's the haunt of A-list Celebs but I can't imagine they visit that often. (Of course I may be wrong!) Ambience aside, the food was very good. I had a... More

The food has always been very good, every time I've visited. Sushi rolls are the best. The attitude of the front of the house can be a little snooty, but our server was pleasant and even changed out some specialty drinks when one of the girls found it too sweet. It's a convenient place to eat, especially when staying in... More

The place and locations are very nice, service? Not at all. These is the kind a place, even the waitress give you an attitude, trying to be high end, I find the food nothing that I have never try before, so no surprise there, but when the check comes you will be. I will not recommend this particularly restaurant, not... More

Walk in, no reservations. The food was very good as was the service. The pricing is steep. $27 for some breakfast menu items. Nice decor and a view of Bryant Park.

If you are looking for great food in the heart of midtown New York, look no further than Koi at the Bryant Park Hotel. A hidden, but in plain sight, gem. We ate late after the theatre which, even though it didn't give us much time, did not diminish the quality & service at this restaurant. The go to dish... More

There were four of us and we shared every sushi roll on the menu. They were all delicious. We also had the miso cod and some fried rice but the rolls are what would make us return.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
