My first visit to the Big Apple, and we were lucky enough to stumble across the Rodeo Bar (for one drink). We left about 5 hours later. Of course we went back again, and hoping to get back there next year.

We had some food on our first night after a long journey from the UK, Tereas (sorry if I've spelt it wrong!) was super friendly and made us feel so welcome! So welcome we found our way there for 5 nights on the trot! Very welcoming, very friendly, would definitely recommend x

we visited here for lunch after walking around for a while this took our fancy. The lady (sorry forgot her name) who served us was super friendly and chatty. The food was delish. It was fairly quiet but I can see it being a hive of activiity in the evening. I wouldn't hesitate in going back if we were nearby... More

This was near to our apartment so we gave it a go. Nothing fancy but very reasonable prices and good solid tex mex restaurant. Slightly marred by being served drinks in plastic cups! Check out the full sized bus that doubles up as a bar

This is the place to go for paralyzing happy hour margaritas (on the rocks) and brain-freeze worthy frozen ones. And, free chips! Thin and salty tortilla chips with a zippy salsa arrive at your table moments after you are seated. There is a nice hum and neon buzz to the bar--lots of locals gather here (on a Thursday night) and... More

I went back to Rodeo for the first time in almost a year and had forgotten how cool a place it is. Where else can you see live music every night with no cover charge? The band that night was great. The food was surprisingly good, the vibe was right on and the staff unpretentious but attentive. I felt like... More

We had a great evening this week at the Rodeo Bar, 375 3rd Ave New York, NY 10016. Wonderful band, Chuck Mead and the Grassy Knoll Boys, great food, good atmosphere. Highly recommended if you want to catch a bit of Nashville while in New York!

3rd Ave is full of awful dives, lame sports bars and non-authentic Irish style pubs. The one standout is the Rodeo Bar. How is it that Midtown East NYC can create a roadhouse bar? Great music, no cover to get in (tip jar for the band... don't be cheap! you are lucky you aren't paying $20 to see a great... More

We had a lovely Mexican meal here with excellent frozen margaritas but the really cool part of this place is the bar which has live music every night, an amazing atmosphere, free roasted monkey nuts and just general amazingness!! We went here every night we stayed in Manhattan. Must go!
