We had made a booking for the last night of our holiday, Wednesday 31st August, but when we got there , it was closed. Very disappointing, and meant we had to re-think our night. I had booked by email, so an email informing me the venue had closed the weekend before would have been appreciated.

I work nearby, so I've been there for lunch many times. They have a great $9.95 lunch special with a nice variety of generous entrees. I recommend the catfish or the pulled pork sandwich's. The wait staff is always helpful and attentive.

This honky-tonk bar I visit the last night in NY in May. The band for the night was The Niagaras. The band was super and really rolled. For the night Will Lee on bass. Robert Whaley did it complete, and let us have a CD so we don’t forget. How anybody could forget an act with the Niagaras! Thank you... More

Nice experience to share if you don't have too much to say to your friends. The waiter was professional and the meals we ordered (Pork ribs and smoked chicken) were tasty and generous. This is not "grande cuisine" but worth to try. Country music surrounds you and makes difficult any discussion. This place is fun for NYC.

I have been here several times, all for a large birthday party and its always been a great time. The food is great and music is fun. The only complaint I have and its happened several times, including to myself, is that there is always an issue with making a reservation for more than a few people. For my birthday... More

The Rodeo Bar is a fun experience if you like country music. They have a live band every night. You can just go there for drinks - or have some pub food.

My first visit to the Big Apple, and we were lucky enough to stumble across the Rodeo Bar (for one drink). We left about 5 hours later. Of course we went back again, and hoping to get back there next year.

We had some food on our first night after a long journey from the UK, Tereas (sorry if I've spelt it wrong!) was super friendly and made us feel so welcome! So welcome we found our way there for 5 nights on the trot! Very welcoming, very friendly, would definitely recommend x
