I was so tickled to happen along by this vegan/vegetarian spot near NYU and Washington Square Park in the Village. I had seitan tacos for lunch with, beans, guacamole, vegan sour cream and chips. My daughter tried soba noodles. And my other daughter just had a smoothie. We got the vegan tiramisu for dessert to share. It was the only... More

If you are vegetarian, vegan, or are in the mood for a great salmon dinner, Quantum Leap is the place for you. It is one of the best restaurants in NYC, and has been consistently good for all the years I have been eating there, which is probably about 20 years. It's a hidden treasure as far as I'm concerned.... More

The staff and food were wonderful. We stopped there for lunch and I can really recommend their Big Leap Burger. Best burger I had so far and I'm an omnivore.

We happened on Quantem Leap when we were looking for a late brunch/lunch and got the last table - what a find! The food and service were both excellent and there was good musack. The menu ranges from vegan/vegetarian and includes fish. Good portions, well cooked and very tasty. We'd definitely recommend it and are planning to go back while... More

Stopped in on a Sunday while they were still serving brunch. The omelet was great, especially since it's hard to find a really good vegetarian-friendly omelet at the standard breakfast places. The staff was nice and very quick. They look like they have some other great things on the menu, I am definitely going to make it a point to... More

Amazing! Ordered their original vegan burger, complete with vegan cheese and a house dressing that I want to bottle and store in my fridge. Served with deliciously crisp sweet potato fries and a large side salad. I was incredibly pleased! I love burgers, but this one didn't leave me feeling heavy and greasy. It will impress both vegans and omnivores... More

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
