Lunch in NY

Great little place for vegans if you are in lower Manhattan. We stopped by for an early lunch. Great vegan options and portions are good!

Stopped in on a Sunday while they were still serving brunch. The omelet was great, especially since it's hard to find a really good vegetarian-friendly omelet at the standard breakfast places. The staff was nice and very quick. They look like they have some other great things on the menu, I am definitely going to make it a point to... More

Amazing! Ordered their original vegan burger, complete with vegan cheese and a house dressing that I want to bottle and store in my fridge. Served with deliciously crisp sweet potato fries and a large side salad. I was incredibly pleased! I love burgers, but this one didn't leave me feeling heavy and greasy. It will impress both vegans and omnivores... More

I've never had vegan food. My sister however is a vegan and when she suggested this place, I was a little hesitant. Our waitress was wonderful! She explained all the dishes and was so friendly! And when she was busy and we had a question the man behind the counter came over to answer all our questions. We ordered a... More

Had the big Leap burger and didn't regret it : huge portion of salad and fries (sweet potato ) , whole wheat bread and delicious avocado slices. You also meet very nice people there, including the friendly waitress (red hair, beautiful smile, very thoughtful )

I saw this place on the internet before leaving and this noon we tried it. The place is small and cozy, service is fast and very nice. Water is for free. We had a burger, a vegan bowl, a slice of tofu cheesecake and 2 iced TeAs. 30$ +tip. Great food, very tasty and healthy(the tofu in My bowl was... More

After a long walk in NYC we were hungry and looking for a restaurant for lunch. Natural food sounded good, and we had a decent lunch. I am not a veggie, but had a salad with seaweed, beans, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, rice and maybe even more, with a dressing that was served apart. It tasted too "natural" for me,... We tried Mexican .... delicious / sumptuous ! I am vegetarian and the choice was really wonderful. The "chicken" strips were very well done. We had excellent service too and I did tell the waitress that she made us all happy by her smile and efficiency ! The difference a smile makes !!

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
