This is a vegetarian/ pescatarian place. I recently went there a second time, after about four years. The place has friendly service and decent food. More details and photos on my blog - nycbonvivant[dot]wordpress[dot]com.

I am a normal, meat-eating, beer drinking fellow, suspicious of anything that says organic or natural or vegan or raw food. But my girlfriend and mother and sister in law variously drag me to places that are not Peter Luger. This place is near my house. I went under duress. Now I go there... on my own. Friggin' delicious. They... More

Good sized portions, fresh food, free water on arrival, great service. PLENTY of choice. Deserts are OK, not very adventurous but delicious all the same

We discovered Quantum Leap by accident, having just left Washington Square. I'm not a vegetarian but the food was superb and the service was first class. I'm very happy to recommend a meal here.

First time at Quantum Leap, the menu has many options for vegetarians (and a few others of fish). We ordered the apps spring rolls and the chips and guacamole refried beans, salsa, black beans and which had creamy tofu instead of sour cream, this app was delicious! I had one of the menu veggie burgers - lentil and walnut. If... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit. We both had Mexican options. There is a wide range of dishes to choose from and the portions are a fair size. If I visit again I will skip the appetiser. Humus is delicious. The food is freshly prepared and of good quality. Staff are really peasant and efficient. A great find for... More

My husband isn't a veggie but said his veggie burger was excellent. I had an appetiser of corn chips, guacamole, vegan cream which was OK but way too much food, but my husband pointed out I had missed the fact that it was a sharing dish! We found this restaurant on a walk about several years ago but I could't... More

Not a vegetarian, but I enjoy vegetarian food. Lots of options if you are vegetarian, other than salad or a token veggie burger - this place has several different veggie burger options that include salad and another side dish. Lots of other sandwich, wrap and pasta options, and fish too. Non-vegetarians would enjoy the flavours of the menu.

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel.
