We lucked into grabbing a table at Simone's when visiting NYC. The food is creative, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff made you feel very comfortable without being intrusive. We also got the pleasure of meeting the owners who are extremely hands on to make sure everything is perfect. It is a great restaurant for a special occasion that you... More

We stepped in here on our day in New York for lunch and all was well. Very good food and service, just what we needed. Great music in the background, too!

Beautiful decor, great bar, nice, prompt service. Try the tapas, eclectic and tasty dishes. Daily drink specials will make you keep coming back, and are priced inexpensively compared to the rest of NYC. (shhh... don't tell, it's a secret!). A fun place to hang, drink, and eat in the hip, (formerly bohemian, now gentrified) lower east side.

We had lunch/brunch with two kids and we all LOVED the restaurant. Everything tasted absolutely fresh and was visually appealing. We will be back!

I loved this place when I visited New Year in 2012. The brunch and breakfast is great and the music perfect. I didn't go in the evening but me and my sister went for brunch twice, well worth a visit!

Very cool decor, the kinda thing I love. Drinks were great, staff were very friendly and service was great, no complaints here. Didn't try the food but would go back to do so sometime!

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
