Very uneven service blamed to soft re opening. Tacky decor fake flowers and palm trees a very sad renovation of the previously gorgeous space. Yelled at my maitre d as to what sort of tea is included in the Central Park complete breakfast. Told could not order white tea as it is a $19 grand cru and only an $11... More

Best afternoon tea ever with champagne and piano playing. This place makes me feel like a princess each and every time.

Great decor fabulous food served by top experienced staff . The experience starts from the greeting at the entrance until the napkin is removed from your lap and you walk out. There afternoon teas are to die for.

my husband wasn't keen, I had been here in the '70's so wanted to go for old time sake. So glad we did, lovely afternoon tea with the 3 tier stand full of crustless sandwiches, pastries and yummy cakes, too much for two really, but we forced ourselves :-). Beautiful music coming from the piano in the corner, and of... More

The Palm Court is a lovely place to have brunch or high tea. We have had brunch at this restaurant several times. The service is very attentive, the restaurant space is beautiful and you get to sit on lovely cushioned chairs as opposed to regular restaurant seats. The food is very good. We have had the eggs benedict, lobster salad,... More

Beautiful, exquisite Palm Court, gentle piano playing in the background, white linen and gleaming silver. The waiters are snooty and I figure that's part of the experience, but service is good. We had high tea. The food is blah, decorative and pretty but it's not going to fill you up. It costs waaaay too much for what you get, but... More

Have always wanted to have High Tea at the Plaza Hotel but was a little worried after some of the negative reviews on here and other review websites; however, as it was on my bucket list we booked it anyway and hoped for the best. Am so glad we did as we did not have any of the problems referred... More

We went here for afternoon tea after getting married. We had booked some months previously for our 12 guests. From start to finish the service was faultless and the food was amazing.

The Palm Court is a beautiful place for breakfast if you are staying at the Plaza. I did think service was extremely slow, especially considering that there were not that many people at breakfast. The selections and the food itself were very, very good. We would definitely come back.
