Have always wanted to have High Tea at the Plaza Hotel but was a little worried after some of the negative reviews on here and other review websites; however, as it was on my bucket list we booked it anyway and hoped for the best. Am so glad we did as we did not have any of the problems referred... More

We went here for afternoon tea after getting married. We had booked some months previously for our 12 guests. From start to finish the service was faultless and the food was amazing.

The Palm Court is a beautiful place for breakfast if you are staying at the Plaza. I did think service was extremely slow, especially considering that there were not that many people at breakfast. The selections and the food itself were very, very good. We would definitely come back.

The tea was cold. My daughter ordered a latte and it was made with drip coffee instead of espresso. The finger sandwiches were tasteless. It took forever to get our tea and we got attitude from the server! The atmosphere is nice, but the food is less than mediocre and the service substandard at best! I hope that the Plaza... More

I and my wife were expecting something really good however we ended up very disappointed, poor finger sandwiches, ham and cheese, egg salad, cucumber and salmon (all tasteless and without any innovation) for USD 55/person??I felt that I could have made it better myself! The only good thing was the macaron. Since the standard was quite low I would not... More

This was my second time experiencing high tea at The Plaza. Both experiences (about a year apart) were very similar. First of all, the atmosphere is fantastic – it is THE Plaza in NYC! Other than that, it is your standard tea service. The food is ok; however, the selection of quality tea does compensate for lack of food flavor.... More

On our recent trip to NYC we were very excited for our high tea at the famous Plaza hotel. We could not have left more disappointed. Service was terrible from the start and the waiter was extremely rude telling us we could not share tea and it would be an additional $9 to do so. The food presented was woeful,... More

What a magnificent venue! We had afternoon tea and it was everything we had hoped for and more. The food was delicious, the champagne was exquisite and the service was impeccable. It is pricey, but we were celebrating a special birthday and it was worth every penny. We were treated royally from beginning to end.........a truly memorable experience.

We were made to feel like absolute princesses!!! The food was great and plenty of it. The tea selection was plentiful and the champaign choices were perfect as we'll. the staff went above and beyond looking after us. Took as many pics as we wanted and the manger really went above and beyond. We were celebrating our birthdays and they... More
