We arrived very late and still staff was very welcoming and made sure we did not feel the pressure. Food choice was excelent as well as the service. We had suggested noodles of the day and it is fantastic. really recommend , not cheap.

We have been dining hear every time we come to NY for decades. The vibe is hip and warm, and the location is great if you are staying in Midtown. The food is always delicious, and their saketini is the best! My 13 year old son, who is a total foodie, always wants to go to China Grill. We have... More

I was excited to go here because some friends had eatern there and had really liked it. We did go during one of NYC's Restaurant Weeks so we could see if we liked the food enough to try it another time. First, we had to ask for the Restaurant Week menu. The waiter did not ask if we were there... More

Lunch was reasonably priced, three course menu 25USD/person. We had tempura tuna sashimi, spicy beef dumplings, salmon and setchuan beef. Food was ok, nothing special. If I had paid the full price for that menu at dinner, I would have been disappointed. Expected the food to be spicier.

We like Asian. We like pricey Asian, but Ifbthat is what you are looking for go to hakkasan or Tao. This was overpriced uninspired food at best. Restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night as well. Not worth it at all.

I hadn't been here for 10 years, but it was still good. We had a quick dinner before the theatre and everything was delicious. The servicer was attentive and and very pleasant. Its a big open space so not very intimate and a bit noisy. Worth a try.

Completely recommend the beef and scallion dumplings, the souffle, and the udon noodles. Go during happy hour (until 7pm). The rest of the menu was ok, but a bit of a disappointment when compared with those three dishes.

Had another great meal in my second trip to NYC in three weeks. In January my wife and I had their tasting menu, that was terrific with 5 or 6 different items. Tonight I was by myself for their Restaurant Week menu, which was equally superb. Fortunately, I just happened to have Oscar as our waiter both times. He is... More

I went last night with 5 other co-workers. The food was surprisingly amazing. They say family style, and though we shared meals that way, you can eat one plate by yourself. The wasabi mashed potatoes were excellent. I'm going back just for the calamari salad!

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
