Forgot how consistent China Grill can be - hadn't dined there in years and wandered in for lunch because the Moderne was closed. Enjoyed delicious cocktails and some remarkable dumplings and pork cheek appetizers.

This place serves fantastic cocktails. I loved the Cosmo. We also had appetizers and they were great. The entire atmosphere was sleek design and wide open space. We enjoyed excellent service. I also thought that there were unexpected things on the menu, such as lobster pancakes, calamari salad, duck pancakes. I will probably go back and try other items on... More

Well located near Rockefeller Center and City Center and Carnegie Hall, It has amazing large appetizers and deserts, worth sharing. The food quality is excellent, and the selections are somewhat unique. I tink it is better than Mr Chou and much better priced, tho not cheap.

Trendy fusion restaurant, had lunch during the restaurant week in august. The tuna and grilled beef was so goood, tender and nicely seasoned. Interior is trendy. When crowded the volume of speech gets too loud. Place worth to visit and try the food.

Yummiest Chinese we had in NY. Really nice inside, funky, cool, hip. Good friendly service. Whole family enjoyed sharing plates.

Have eaten here several times and still find the food delicious. Portions are large so make sure you have plenty of people to share with. This time we ended up arriving during restaurant week so the meal was a particular bargain. Would go back in a heartbeat

During restaurant week a friend of mine decided to got to dinner. She chose China grill and I was a little disappointed but i decided to try it out. I figured how many ways can you do Chinese food? have not been here for a while. Went last night during restaurant week not expecting that much but was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, especially the lamb ribs .IN fact almost all of the food was very good. The service tried to push us out way too fast and I did not enjoy that. IF you are in... More

We dine here everytime we are in NY. It's my husband's favorite. Servings are family sized so keep that in mind when ordering - especially if you are only two.

Although the restaurant looks busy from the front window, you will find numerous tables empty in the cavernous back. We did the special menu for 4.The salads were great, the meat dishes were mediocre at best with heavy handed salt being the only standout flavor. The shrimp fried rice was horribly fishy tasting. The dessert was ridiculous and overdone. All... More
