Good restaurant

We ate at Tony's a couple of times during our visit to NYC. It was a great feed and staff were very friendly.

We booked a table in advance - we were glad that we did! It was busy and had a great atmosphere. The food portions are huge - order one dish to share between two people. The waiter was efficient and friendly and we didn't wait long for our order. It is a smart restaurant so maybe traditional tourist wear isn't... More

We saw this place on line so we thought we would give it a try. Our server was super nice and really knew his menu and answered al our questions. We tried the zucchini appetizer and loved it then for the entrée we shared the eggplant parm and the chicken parm. Both were really good, with a ton of red... More

Very busy restaurant which adds to a great vibe. Waitress was really good and advised that two portions were enough to serve three adults. She was correct, however the quality of the meatballs and spaghetti was disappointing and it arrived at the table within five minutes of ordering. Good value for money though.

When I first walked in and the noise hit me I thought ugh I'm not going to enjoy this, but it couldn't have been further from the truth. Yes, its very noisy in there but the food and service were excellent and I spose you could say it adds to the atmosphere. I'd never eaten 'family' style before and wasn't... More

With a fine and broad italian menu and a very well organized staff and kitchen this is a fine choice for family dining, couples dining or large group dining. The meals servings are very large and the quality is terrific. The seafood linguine for example is packed with lots of quality and variety. Downstairs is the best bet - some... More

We stopped in for dessert after watching Beautiful. Sat at the bar. The dessert was to die for, bartender was a great host. We wished we had selected it for dinner before the show - as everything looked scrumptious.

The restaurant was packed but the staff was able to seat my wife and I. It was a noisy but lively atmosphere that had a real flavor of a mid-tone New York restaurant. The food was excellent and had a beautiful presentation. It was reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and helpful. It was just a few steps from the... More

My husband and I were hit in the face with the noise of this restaurant was the minute we walked in, and disheartened by how closely the tables were crammed together. We had to shout to each other the entire meal to be heard. The food was good, but as the format is family-style, there were no appropriate portion sizes... More

The portions are family size, don't dare ordering one dish for one person. And everything is just so incredibly tasty.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
