After reading excellent reviews I made a reservation before I left for NYC. Good job as the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. Although very busy our waiter was very attentive, asking us if everything was OK several times. He advised us on the choice of meals. As we were a party of three the portions were just right.... I usually tend to shy away from restaurants right near Bway/ Times Square as many tend to be pretty touristy and not as good food wise. Tony's breaks that myth for me. I was in a tight time line and needed to dine near my theater for the evening, so after reading reviews here, I decided to try it. I'm... More

My favorite Italian in NY City. We ate their 3 times for our 1 week trip in Manhattan. It is so good and affordable prices. When we return to NY City, we are going back for more. Love this place; never disappointed, great food and attentive service. The portions will blow you away. Look at their ratings: you can't go... More

Wow Great food and service --- all served family style. Our waitress was a super professional who not only provided excellent service but took time to answer our questions. If you like family style great Italian food Tony's is a must. Very reasonably priced food and drinks for NYC with an easy walk to most show theaters. Loved Tony's

This is a regional restaurant with a family feel. Menu was GREAT. we had veal in a light lemon sauce. Riggatoni was outstanding too. This restaurant serves enough that a table of 4 could share everything. Large Portions. Sangria was a great choice unless you must have wine. Very good Sangria.Servide was VERY friendly and fast.

Fun and energetic and noisy. Food is good and stick to your ribs and the wine list is decent. All is served family style. I would recommend it for people travelling with kids 6+ who actually want to have a decent meal themselves. Service very proficient and organized. Good evening stroll with Times Square nearby.

We had made a reservation , arrived 10 mins early and where shown straight to our table, the atmosphere is buzzing with conversation and laughter, the servers really know thier jobs taking the time to explain the menu to you, we... We really enjoyed the huge pasta dishes and the fried eggplant, though I have been in better Italians back in Europe. One dish can easily feed 2 people. The tiramisu is really good and I would have assigned the full score to this place if I had only eaten the latter.

The food was amazing, was cheaper for lunch. Shared fettucini alfredo with green peas, and had great sangria.

For a location that is VERY convenient to Times Square and all-things midtown, and gives you that essential Italian, New York feel...this is your spot. I made reservations on my phone while we made our way across town for dinner. The food was excellent and our server didn't miss a beat.
