Great Place

The food is good comfort Italian, served family style (or individual, if you like). I suggest family style. There were 5 of us in total, 3 of which big eaters and the whole bill came to $45 each which included alcoholic drinks, appetizer and coffee afterward, and a 20% tip. Server was attentive but... read more

This one of my favorite restaurant in the city. You can always expect excellent food and service. We are usually celebrating a family birthday but we really enjoy Tony's Shrimp, the Chicken Marsala, and "Ala Vodka" Sauce with Mushrooms. The atmosphere is full of wonderful dinner conversations and everyone enjoying a old fashioned "family" meal. Remember to make a reservation... More

We visited twice and both times were great. Food, service (waiter Dimitri really knows his stuff!) & location are great. Prices are very affordable! Some of the best italian food i've had. Greetings from Holland

Great quantity of good American Italian food and funny waiter made this a good place to stop with another couple before a matinee for lunch. You cannot eat a light lunch here! The portions are enormous and meant for sharing. I was a little worried we'd miss curtain call but they had us in and out in about 1 hour... More

Overall, this is the place you want to go. Family style meals that feed 2-3 ppl per plate. Service is outstanding, food is phenomenal. And the red sangria is the BOMB. My wife and I really enjoyed it here. The decor is very cool, nice chandeliers, dimmed lights. Fun for couples or friends. Will be coming again soon :)

I took my wife here for Valentines day after going to a show. This is her favorite restaurant in the city, and with good reason. The food was excellent, as it always is, and the service is nothing but the best. The staff are all friendly, courteous and professional. They make the experience such that you will want to return... We had read reviews of this place before we went and really enjoyed it! The place had a lovely atmosphere of feeling a special evening but feeling relaxed at the same time. We went in about 10pm. The waitress was really friendly and very on it in terms of serving us but certainly didnt make us feel we had to... More

Had another great lunch at this mid town favorite, Italian old school. Big portions, great food. I enjoyed the Veal Parm with a side of spags, nummy trip back to the '60's real veal. My spouse enjoyed the Ravioli, tastes home made. Too full for desserts, which were large. Always a good choice in mid town. A bit noisy and... More

This place is a fun place to eat and spend time with family and friends. We have been here twice in two weeks. Both meals with a different group. Both times the experience was outstanding. The bread is fresh. The service is very good. They are helpfull in selecting the portion sizes depending on how many will be eating from... More

Given its location near Times Square, you would think this is a tourist trap. It is not. It is a genuinely New York Italian restaurant. Let me correct that. It is a New York Italian American restaurant. I think enjoying this restaurant has all to do with expectations coming in. Are you looking for a highly rated Zagat find serving... More
