Im not into family style stuff, but you get to choose from a lot and eat a lot to in real Italian style. Not a place I would pick for kids.

Attention travelers, portion in real are much bigger than you may think, the only small thing is their tables!!!! The pasta is great, calamres as well, salmon is great. Everything is of a great quality. Do not order too much, unless you have been on a one week food strike.
and very good food. Special salad with pear and walnuts was fantastic. Veal Marsala could have been better, but overall, this is a pleasant dining experience.
No reservation? no problem. Grab a stool at the front bar for some scintillating people watching instead. That's what I did when I stumbled on Tony's, which carried on the buzzing vibe of Times Square, practically around the corner. Traditional Italian experience with superior food and service in a somewhat frenetic setting. Good value for money and super friendly and efficient service. We ate salad and pasta plus the chicken parmigiana which was excellent. Not gourmet but very enjoyable.
We were given this reservation as our Wedding Gift from work based on Trip Advisor reviews and proximity to our hotel. The reviews are very positive - and we had a lovely evening. However, there are some things to bear in mind - check out the menu before you go - the meals are Italian, as in pasta not pizza...

We just walked into here on a Friday night and ended up having a great meal. We didn't know it was family style (which I'm usually not a fan of) but with the great waiter, wonderful Chicken parm and outstanding Vodka sauce, it was great. Plus everyone in there was having the best time which added to the experience.
This restaurant was "spotted" during our walks through midtown, and we felt we just had to give it a try - we weren't disappointed !
The food is excellent and good value, atmosphere also very good - we visited two times, and the place was full and buzzing both times.
Be aware though, the portion sizes are huge ! The...

We tried this restaurant following a recommendation from a friend.
It was a great recommendation. The first evening we tried to book a table online we were unsuccessful - it was fully booked. We persevered and managed to get a table for the following evening. It was well worth the effort.
On my online booking request I requested a quiet...
