We came here with our 3 children and ordered the house salad (Ok- nothing special), meatballs & sausage (this was in a onion and pepper sauce, not tomatoe sauce. It was OK- I wouldn't order it again. The meatballs were better tasting then the sausage) and we ordered pasta with marinara sauce (again OK nothing special). For dessert we ordered... More

I was seeing a 7pm show at the Steven Sondheim theatre, so I grabbed the last seat at the bar at 5:45pm. I ordered the veal parm ($18) and a glass of chianti ($10). Very busy, very noisy... and kind of a churn and burn. While it fit our need for a pre-theatre dinner, the experience felt a bit stale. Wait staff didn't make eye contact, and the courses just came out one after the other regardless of whether we were done and ready for them. With all of the options in NYC, we... More

Forget what you've heard about not dining in the tourist zone. This is one of New York's great dining experiences just off times Square. Superb food, excellent service, and great value. Dinner reservations are a must--that said, we had a table for ten, were seated promptly, enjoyed a great meal family style and were never rushed. Can hardly wait to... More

By far our most favourite meal had in the whole of New York. Must make a booking as super busy. Most was mind blowing good.

Portions are HUGE! More than enough for 2. Actually ate there twice - once for dinner and once after the theater. Both times were very busy.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
