Great value and superb food

We arrived late and wandered around looking for somewhere to eat, wandered inside and this place was rammed with people, the servers were great, the food was excellent and good value. The portions are huge so you have to share which was fun.

All the good reviews are right on. Wonderful food in fun, lively restaurant. Large entrees served to share at reasonable prices off Times Square. Made reservation to follow Sunday matinee Broadway show and table ready when we arrived despite being crowded.

Our family had late lunch at Tony's family style Italian restaurant! Plentiful food, delicious and great atmosphere! We had chicken parmigiana and excellent salmon! We were treated to celebratory champagne plus a nice family photo! We really enjoyed the relaxed and fun restaurant. It's very popular so go early!

We made reservations for 7:30 and despite a large number of walk-ins, we were seated immediately. Waiter was informative and fun. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. My party of four all had a great time.

We went as a family having booked in advance. The staff were friendly. It was very busy as went on a Saturday night. We were given a table downstairs, which was fine except it was absolutely freezing. We sat in our jackets, too cold to remove them. The food was authentic and we're pleased we went.

This is a well known Italian Restaurant near Times Square. Portions are really HUGE, so do not over-order, or fill up on bread before your meal arrives. Two can easily share one serving of spaghetti and sauce. This is not a fine dining, sophisticated place. It is very large, noisy with a basic menu. Reasonably priced for what you get.... More

Great mid priced Italian just off Times Square. The portions were huge so great value for money and the staff were lovely. We can recommend the di Napoli ravioli. Be sure to book in advance.

This was our second visit to Tony's, and we learned our lesson last time. One entree does in fact serve at least two people adequately! We ordered the eggplant parmigiana, one of their specialties, and it was fabulous! We even left room for dessert - the New York cheesecake was great and the mini-cannoli dessert was even better. Make sure... More

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was excellent and the prices were great for a Manhattan eatery. We couldn't decide, so we ordered 5 different dishes to share amongst 6 people... too say the lady, it was way too much food, but trying different things made it so worth it. At the end of the dinner, we had enough... More

The food here was AMAZING! It also in a great location. We stopped here to eat on our way to see Phantom of the Opera. Our waiter was excellent. The servings are huge and 3 of us could have shared one meal! Also, get the New York Cheesecake for dessert...it was super good!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
