Fantastic wines and creative food

Unlike so many wine bars where the wines by the glass can be disappointing, Tolani has always had a consistently excellent choice of wines. We planned a party for 13 there, The owner Stanton helped with the menu and then added in a number of dishes- all had a wonderful time. There is a room downstairs that comfortably fit us well and the food and service were fantastic.

I had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at Tolani. It was our first visit and it was wondrous! We had the tasting menu paired with wine. We eat out 3 to 4 times a week and our expectations were exceeded which rarely happens. Stanton, the owner was charming! We will be back.

Attended a birthday dinner here and had no idea what to expect. Boy was I delighted! The charming atmosphere and tastefully intimate setting were the perfect backdrop for the exquisite dishes. The addition of pomegranate to the frise salad and of fennel pollen to the beet salad was just inspired. Both lamb and vegetarian meatballs were excellent, but I actually... More

Went here for the first time with some friends. The lamb meatballs and the pork belly sliders are out of this world!!! They have a happy hour from 5 to 7 which gets you 2 for 1 pricing as well. The atmosphere is friendly. Overall I would recommend this spot for an evening out.

Went to this restaurant for the second time in one week, that being said, the first time was excellent, last night not nearly as consistent or good, in fact not sure if I would ever return. Firstly, last week the biltong which is a South African delicacy was on the menu as an appetizer, it was delicious and served to... More

I was really dubious as to whether to go to this restaurant and was really surprised at this hidden gem. The food is really good. We had a variety of the different tapas dishes that they offer, from cornish chicken, to lamb bolognaise and many other sishes that I would give a five star rating to. The one dish I... More

My wife and I happened upon Tolani's by accident, late at night. It was one of the few places open until midnight that wasn't a pub. She tried the steak and I had the vegetarian meatballs – both were incredible. We also tried a slice of a Gouda cheese, which was great. We finished it off with a molten chocolate... More

Second time here, first time for wine and light snacks, this time for wine and dinner. Both times we had excellent service and an enjoyable time. For a quiet dinner, with enjoyable music, go on a weeknight and ask to sit down stairs. Seasonal tapas selections provided a good variety of choices and at a reasonable price. The fish tacos,...
