Small but excellent burger place with friendly service relatively close to the 9/11 memorial area. You come here to enjoy the really good burgers and the fantastic fries (yummy!!). Not big, only a few seats, and not cheap, but really good!

We ate grilled chicken avocado salad and fries. Both were delicious. Place is very small and cozy and older lady (owner?) was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't eat any burgers because the buns contains milk. Highly recommend this place!

Zaitzeff serves very good Kobe beef, sirloin, turkey, and veggie burgers - served on toasted Portuguese buns. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were served hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned (and not soggy). We especially enjoy the Kobe beef burgers, which are a bit fatty but very moist and flavorful. Be aware that the prices are expensive, as a... More

Traipsed for 6 blocks trying to find this after visiting 911 memorial and before heading down for the Statue Cruise but the effort was definitely worth it. Ordered sliders to go because we were short of time and ate them in the Cruise queue. They were divine. Place is small but clean and staff are lovely. Just go!

Summary, for those averse to reading long essays: Good: Great burgers and fries, Wall Street ambiance Bad: Somewhat overpriced, uneven quality on occasions Recommended: Yes! Now the details: Zaitzeff is sort of an institution in Manhattan's Financial District: a small, square, glass-walled place, it offers simple and healthy food to burger aficionados. Wall Street practitioners, local residents and tourists alike... More

Came here four years ago and I've dreamed about it ever since!!! Back again today and not disappointed - still as fresh and tasty as I remember. By far the best burger in New York - can't wait to come back again!!!

1/4 Kobe burger: includes lettuce, grilled onions, tomato. was very boring in taste , the bun was even simpler than a McDonalds bun. Potato fries: tasted stale or over fried. Seasoned with just salt and oil. Boring. All in all, boring, tasteless and overpriced at $18

Liked it so much we picked up from here twice to take back to our hotel. Tried both the sirloin and kobe options. Both were great but my unsophisticated palate could not tell the difference - so I would just choose the slightly cheaper sirloin. My wife LOVED the fries. Friendly service. Delivery business appeared to be booming.

The chicken was the nicest part of the burger, it was overpriced for what it is! There was no atmosphere in the place, & the mustard was so overpowering on the chicken it made me physically sick, I won't be returning
