Had a fantastic night here. Great food, great music from the Jazz Masters Quartet and my son got to meet a jazz bass hero Buster Williams!

My partner and I went here whilst travelling to nyc for her 30th birthday. Now I am not a big fan of jazz so was a little reluctant at first but we managed to get a table a short notice on a Saturday night which impressed me and turned out to be an amazing night. We saw the Birdland Big... More

Birdland lived up to our expectations for the quintessential New York jazz club experience. The Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, a talented and diverse six-piece group, got the evening started with foot-tapping renditions of classics from Armstrong, W.C. Handy, and others. The reshuffled Ben Allison Group produced a sound with shades of Duke Ellington, Terence Blanchard, and Sonny Rollins, with a... More

I have always wanted to come here because of the music. Today was the day as I went with a bunch of others to check out the Birdland Big Band. Cover was $30 but we got 2 sets of big band music. Not a bad seat in the house, but in front of the band is best. For dinner I... More

Arrive when the doors open and you may well get front row seats! The menu and food were excellent. We hardly saw Cole because he faced the bar almost the entire time, and the sax player stood right in front of us. So we mostly heard the sax and drummer. Better use of the stage by the musicians would have... More

Just went to Birdland and was thrilled with the food. Fantastic menu, good prices especially for NYC and the entertainment we saw was just great.. Spencer Day was appearing and he made the night super. Great experience and I trust you would not be disappointed with Birdland.

I am rating this just in the food as the venue has a separate place. I came her for a special event and have to say the food was nice ... Wings were tasty ... But a few drinks (4) basic martinis and a reasonable tip it ended up 75 dollars! Wow ... Wings in examination were 2 bucks a... More

Decided to try Birdland for a show and late supper because my friend wanted to go. We paid our admission in advance and sat at a front row table. The band was wonderful, the service was excellent, the drinks were excellent and the food was very good. We loved it and would definitely recommend it. Expect to spend some $.... More

Love this club! Delicious food and great entertainment. They have an extensive menu with something for all tastes. The highlight of my evening was meeting Alan Cumming who was seated at the table above us!

This was our first visit to Birdland and will not be our last. Our reserved table was centre stage at the back and provided an excellent view of the stage. A good selection of wines by the glass allowed my husband and I to each enjoy our favourites. Service was a bit slow, but then you are there for the... More
