Friendly, Deli feel!

Busy spot! Service staff very friendly, but food service very slow! We ate on a Saturday morning, holiday weekend- but I suspect it is always busy. From arrival to food, 60 minute wait. Coffee good and plentiful. Food was average and clearly NYC prices. Location convenient.

I'm not a diner fan, but my wife is. So I occasionally eat in one, like it ... or not. . While I agree, the food /is expensive/, the portions can be split between two adults, with leftovers for later in the day. The quality was diner quality, neither fine dining nor fast food. . The service isn't friendly, but... More

We arrive from Scotland on Thanksgiving every year for many years now and always head to Lindys for thanksgiving dinner. Very efficient and pleasant server, tasty food, delicious cheesecake and good sized portions (not too big like some diners). Is slightly pricey but if you eat in Times Square, this has to be expected surely! Love it!

The food here is average, and the prices are expensive given the ambiance and type/quality of food that is offered here. I wouldn't have bothered writing a review if it weren't for the subpar service and the expectation of a minimum tip for 'Great Service' of 18%. On a recent trip to New York, my husband and I wandered into... More

After spending $40 on a bad cheeseburger & Caesar salad I was mad. Then you throw in horrible service, ugh! Don't waste your time or money!!

Relatively expensive, even for the neighborhood. The club sandwich I ordered was good, the portions were large, A value, it was not.

I was Jonesing for a milkshake prior to turning in for the night and figured I could get one here, just across the street for my hotel. They're open 24 hours but it seemed like they were closing. There were only a few customers eating but it was around 10:30 PM. I ordered takeout and had my shake in a... More

We went here for breakfast - just wanted a decent diner level meal. Tables are ridiculously spaced, hostess is surly. Menu items are overpriced and not very good. I ordered poached eggs - they were over cooked and took a very long time to be served. Side order of tomato slices - got two slices of watery tomato. We observed... More

My husband and I split a sandwich and couldn't finish our halves. The sandwich was excellent with a great deal of protein. The French fries were almost the best we have ever had. One friend got a $10.00 piece of cheesecake and we all tasted it. It too was huge. The service was excellent.

It might have been someplace you went to in the 40’s, but all that remains is its name. Breakfast was expensive and not worth it. Bacon tasted like the cheapest greasy quality you can find, that sat on a grill and reheated. Waitress was nice enough, but didn't really make a connection with how I ordered my food and what... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
