I just had to try this place in spite of some questionable reviews. On a Thursday around 7PM the place was about 1/2 full. I was seated quickly and greeted by a very pleasant server named Maureen. Chicken noodle soup was good and served hot. The cheesecake was excellent. I'd definitely go back for the cheesecake.

We ordered a hamburger, fries and Ice Tea and it was $25. They are known for their Cheesecake and it was $8 for a generous slice. Prices are probably normal for this area of town.

Exhausted from walking Central Park we stopped here for a snack. I knew it would not be good as being in such a prominent position it was almost empty of customers. However I needed a rest and something to eat. I ordered waffle with pecans. When it arrived there were no pecans, I asked the waiter where were the pecans... More

For us, we just finished a full day of exploring (tour guide on TripAdvisor too)- we enjoyed it. My husband had a Robin Williams that he said was delicious (enough for 2) and I had a burger- also VERY GOOD. Prices are high but EVERYTHING is in NYC. We would eat here again!

We stopped in for an authentic slice of NY style Cheesecake late Saturday evening. We had no issue with service. The cheesecake was absolutely as delish as I'd hoped, light and fluffy and fresh! Go for the cheesecake experience and you won't be disappointed.

Food was okay, but the service was slow, confusing. No refills on drinks although there was supposed to be, very very slow. Forgot parts of our order but was on the bill (salads, etc.) No sauces to put on things (eg burgers), that said the burgers themselves were tasty.Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't go back.

At closing hour (5:30pm) of the Museum Of Modern Art (MOMA) nice to quickly find shelter from the rain and a hungry parties menu within a block from our 7pm Jersey Boys showing. The sandwich names were interesting (ie. Meg Ryan, etc.), I had the Britney Spears. I huge triple decker chicken salad behemoth of a meal. Actually it was... More

First time to New York and from a place where customer service is a MUST!! walked into this place and sat outside. As I was asking questions, waitress asked "what is it that you want" very rudely and as we walked away she mumbled "... ches". Down to the right we got our breakfast and smiles.

We came across this place was were looking for a quick sitdown bite to eat, the place smelled awful and was dirty, I actually went back outside to check the letter grade as the city gives grades for cleanliness, it said 'A' so I have to wonder if they paid someone off. We looked at the menu and were shocked... More
