It is an average menu with exclusive prices, plus it takes a while to be seated and more to take an order.

Was out for a looong day of sight seeing/museums and needed some place quick & easy. Chose Lindy's b/c of location & bathroom. (some of the other deli's in area have no bathroom) While past the usual lunch time, 2:30ish, many of the other restaurants we walked past had large crowds still. The fact that this place had only 4... More

To its credit, I'll never forget this place! This is the place where I ate my worst dinner ever! We were so appalled with our "dinner" - a "rotisserie" chicken nuked right in front of our eyes, that we decided to skip the whole thing including their "world's best cheesecake" altogether and find one of the halal meat carts nearby.... Definitely a touristy place - we stayed around the corner in the London Hotel and breakfast prices there were ridiculous so we walked to Lindy's. Prices were high for eggs and coffee, food was average - server was not the happiest guy! Too touristy for me - not going to visit again

We visited here because a tour guide told us not to miss the cheesecake, she must be in their payroll because it was badddd. As I entered tripadvisor to review it I see I am not alone, next time I will check tripadvisor before trying new places. Overpriced cheesecakes ($10.40 a slice) and compared to others I had this week,... More

My husband and I went here for breakfast one morning, because they have an outdoor patio that looked okay. It was the worst resturant experience we have had in New York ever. The waiter never came to our table, so the hostess finally tried to take our order - she didn't take any notes, even though she didn't even know... More

Not only were the staff downright rude, the coffee cup (of atrocious coffee) was half full. The food was bland and tough and the prices exorbitant. Should have known better.

Ordered coffee, pancakes and eggs for breakfast as a group. The coffee tasted awful - actually unpalatable, the pancakes did not taste good and its fillings tasted bad too. The service was also slow and they weren't very friendly. Much more expensive than other diners and definitely not worth it.
