Too bad...it was a nice little place and very convenient if you were staying at the Y. It doesn't look like renovations or anything...it's just gone.

The deli was closed during my stay and it did not look as if it would be opened anytime soon.

The place was conveniently located inside the Westside YMCA where I was staying. They had a good variety of cereal, breakfast sandwiches, drinks and coffee. It's low-key and no frills.

Handy place to go for breakfast if you are staying in the YMCA upstairs, the food was fine and inexpensive, and the staff seemed friendly enough. It was nothing special though, I would eat here if passing, but I would not go out of my way to find this place. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Staying in the YMCA in which this is based meant this was the first port of call for meals. The food is good value for money and the portions are exceedingly large (for the British anyways). Friendly staff make you feel welcome. Free wifi is an added bonus!

This restaurant, housed in the West Side YMCA building, seems pretty chaotic early in the morning when all the tourists come down from the cheap lodging upstairs for breakfast. Best avoided then. But the rest of the day this restaurant, from my experience, is a nice quiet place to sit for a while, enjoy a simple and fairly healthy menu,... More

Wonderful litte cafe type restaurant inside the Y on West 63rd Street. Went for breakfast and it was delightful. Great coffee, good food, nice decor, very clean and wonderful choices. Very limited kitchen area so many items are brought in. Very high quality muffins, breads, etc. Steps from the Lincoln Center and Central Park. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.... More

This cafe on W. 63rd St is inside the YMCA and a little hard to find. But it was well worth the effort. We had breakfast here before a day of shopping and sightseeing. The egg, ham and cheese on ciabbata was delicious. The coffee was fresh and hot. The dining area is so pleasant that we sat and relaxed... More
