My wife & I were in the mood for nachos. They were not on the menu but the bartender said they would make them for us nonetheless. They came with sour cream, guacamole & chicken and were delicious. Good beer too!

The riendly and lively atmosphere of the bar area spills over into the restaurant giving it a more casual atmosphere. The menu suited me, but I'm no foodie. Some standard UK-style staples- the battered cod I chose was delicious and almost too... More

friendly helpful attentive staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. The steak was the best I have ever had and just melted in your mouth. Highly recommended, and will definitely be going back next time in New York

Matodee really rude, food ok but over priced, if you do go, do the pub not restaurant, they call the restaurant fine dining, but it's not anywhere near that quality

Our first night in New York we were tired and decided to eat at Rosie O'Grady's Pub across from our hotel on 7th Avenue. We were a group of 10. They were not able to seat us together but after some discussion they were very accommodating and were able to set us up outside. When finally seated we requested separate... More

Picked this restaurant for lunch for our annual bus trip to NYC. Situated between MOMA and the theatre. Restaurant was beautiful and food was extremely good. Had the Turkey Burger with Mozzarella cheese, mushrooms and onions along with a spinach salad. It was extremely good. Husband and sister-in-law had the club sandwich and it was also delicious. Would love to... More

Go down to the Pub in the basement. Prices quite reasonable and no wait pre-theater. Half block from Theater District. Surprisingly, not touristy.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
