Unimpressed

I came here alone, as I was alone in NYC for the weekend. It took almost 15 minutes for someone to come over so I could order a drink, which also took a long time to get to my table. It took another 15 minutes on top of that for someone to take my food order, I already knew what... read more

After wanting an italian all weekend we ended up here. I guess the fact that it was empty wasnt a great sign and in hind sight we should have thought twice. Being charged $10 for a bottle of water when we asked for a glass of tap water was a joke. The crostini starter had obviously been microwaved as it... More

My spouse and I recently stayed at The Hotel at Times Square and walked a few steps down 4th to the Via Italia restaurant, which turned out to be a really fun experience. The atmosphere, the service, the presentation and quality of the food was outstanding from salad to main course to dessert. We would definitely eat there again!

Located only a few doors down from our hotel (Hotel @ Times Square), the staff was friendly and the food was great. My wife really enjoyed her chicken parmesan and seasoned vegetables. My spaghetti and meatballs was good as well. Pricing is on par with other NYC eateries (about $20 per person). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking... More

We were going to NBC at the Rockefeller Centre and this was conveniently close by. The restaurant was not busy - holiday weekend may explain this somewhat - and we were seated immediately. The level of service was first class, friendly, personal without being intrusive. The quality of the food was excellent, just a pity we did not have time... More

We had lunch here on our last day in New York, hoping it would be a bit special as we love Italian food. We went early into an empty restaurant and were shown to a tiny table for the two of us (we do like to spread out a bit, but no chance here). Shortly afterwards another couple came in,... More

I was in the city on business and took clients to this restaurant on a recommendation from a colleague. We were a party of 9 and were all pleasantly satisfied with the food and service. I would definately go there again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
