I dined at Le Train Blue in the Summer of 2011. It was everything that the reviews are saying. Went back with my husband and son in February 2012 and was embarassed! The food was nowhere near the quality is was in the summer. We had trouble getting any attention from our server. We noticed another table having the same... More

We were going to New York for Thanksgiving and had been told about Le Train Bleu, a restaurant in Bloomingdales. We had done a bit of research but hadn't found out much about this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. Its design is based on the Orient Express. The decor was fantastic, servers were brilliant and very... More

Spent Christmas day at Le Train Bleu. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was sensational and the price reasonable. The desserts were to die for. The wine list was good, perhaps a little expensive but good quality. The atmosphere is old world and gorgeous - highly recommend a visit. More

We had a lovely late lunch at Le Train Bleu - (who misspelled it on here?) in Bloomingdales. It was good value for menu fixe at around $25 from memory incl a glass of wine. You can't book on the phone unfortunately, although maybe that's the plan, so you go and shop after you make your reservation in person! Relaxed... More

I never would have known about this place had I been not passing just as a staff member for the restaurant was walking in. He jokingly said to come in for lunch, that they were the best value in town. It was my absolute favourite dining experience while there. The food was exquisite. The service impeccable. My only caution would... More

I arranged for friends to come by as a birthday surprise. Located at 6th floor inside Bloomingdale's, the restaurant transports you to a different time in Europe. Old world charm, quality service, exquisite presentation and quality food. Only open 10:30 am - 5:30 pm, 8:00 pm on Thursdays More

My family and I are a bunch of Asians who absolutely loved Le Train Bleu. The concept is a restaurant dressed in a train (c'est adorable) and la cuisine et tres bonne (the food is really excellent). The fish was especially fresh and everything about it was authentic. We spotted this nice little spot in 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale (on the... More

We were pleased with Le train bleu! It was very chic and the service was good, but the best thing was the atmosphere, in fact the restaurant is a dining car! The food was good (believe me, I'm italian!) and I'd like to go back again when I'll be in NYC. More
