Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and it was a serendipitous moment! The décor was wonderful and, for once in New York, the noise level was low!! The menu was interesting and I chose the Tropical chicken salad. I LOVED it!! We were too full for dessert but the service was old fashioned, polite and respectful. What's not to like?... More

We were here for lunch. Exceptionally good service. Hangout for old Newyorkers probably. Restaurant with a big staff and waiters-waitresses of all ages... They know their bussiness though wich is nice. Our food and wine was good aswell. If you have some money to spend do go there.

This resaurant was so fun. It is like a train car on the 5th floor of Bloomingdales. We loved this. Even the bathroom was like on the train even though we did not see the tracks when we flushed. French menu was different for us. This is a must.

Best part of this restaurant is the atmosphere--it's a replica of a luxury train from Paris of some years ago. You access the restaurant by climbing some steep stairs at the back of the 6th floor of Bloomingdale's. Had a Waldorf With a Twist wrap, which was good, but nothing special. My least favorite meal in NYC.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is really lovely. The menu offers lots of choices, and we thoroughly enjoyed three different dishes. I had the Waldorf Wrap, my son had their Signature Burger and my husband had their Crab Cakes. Everything was delicious. It's a really quant setting, and quite a lot of... More

This is my dads little secret inside of bloomies. He always takes us here to take a break from the madness at the store. The service is superb and the atmosphere is great. Unlike the other restaurants @ bloomies no one seems to really know that this one exists. So it's usually nice and quiet. The service reminds you of... More

I dined at Le Train Blue in the Summer of 2011. It was everything that the reviews are saying. Went back with my husband and son in February 2012 and was embarassed! The food was nowhere near the quality is was in the summer. We had trouble getting any attention from our server. We noticed another table having the same... More

We were going to New York for Thanksgiving and had been told about Le Train Bleu, a restaurant in Bloomingdales. We had done a bit of research but hadn't found out much about this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. Its design is based on the Orient Express. The decor was fantastic, servers were brilliant and very... More
